Yep, this is how I spent part of Christmas Eve trying to get a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery:
Went to bus stop at SOG and discovered I would have to wait 25 min. for bus
Hopped bus to TTC and as soon as I arrived I just walked to the next bus in front of it and rode to HS.
Got off bus and walked to boat for ride to Boardwalk.
Got cake and waited 10 minutes for boat back.
Took boat to HS and discovered TTC bus was already there but no SOG bus yet.
As the TTC bus is pulling out, SOG bus pulls up (oh, well).
Hop off at TTC and the SOG bus is sitting there waiting, hop on it.
Arrive back at SOG.
Sounds simple, but it actually took almost 2 hours. I had a 4:10 dinner ressie for the Candlelight Processional. I dropped the cake off in our room and brushed my hair and headed back out and the bus was right there for the TTC.
Monorail to Epcot and hike to the Garden Grill-made it with 5 minutes to spare. I actually had time to make a potty run before they paged us.
The cake was so not worth the time I had to put in to get it. I had told them that it was a cake for 3 people for dessert on Christmas. Picked up a cake large enough for 16 people and the buttercream frosting melted unless we kept it in the fridge. It just wasn't worth the trouble, oh, yeah, it cost me $45!!
