***Official September 2022 Thread***

We were at the D23 event and could ride as many times as we wanted- I rode it once.

I got sick on it but I will ride it again and see what helps me best for sickness. I also get sick on RnRc, Space Mountain and EE. Oh and mission orange.🤢

I will ride everything each visit except mission orange.

HToT used to get me but now it is one of my favorites.
I'm going to pass until my fam tries it. I don't ride RnRc, or Space, or EE and def. not orange! Or I may try it the last day so it don't spoil my trip.

I bought 2 portable fans for DH and I!
I saw some on sale! A friend of mine got me one as a gift for my birthday so I don't need one.

FYI, right now there's only 5 choice of MB's from MDE! Slim pickin's!
Sheesh they are killing me with this! They're either not going to have any by the time I want to order or all of a sudden the + will be out. Those 5 are all more deeply discounted than usual though.... $15 off on each of them. Makes me wonder. Some solid colors seem to be back in stock on ShopDisney. They had been down to just one there before.

Hi all! I haven’t posted in ages - definitely was having issues with it feeling like I was actually going to go! But it seems hitting my dining booking window has certainly helped! As did booking my 2nd booster shot since I’d be about 8 months out from my last so basically not at all protected. All positive steps forward for sure!

So some questions, for those in the mood lol:
1) if I have a dining reservation in a park for 1:50pm, does that park have to be the one I have a reservation for, since it is before the park hopping window opens?
2) thoughts on Homecoming brunch vs dinner?
3) thoughts on going to Wine Bar George solo? I’ve never been. I’m also considering Jaleo. Which leads me to…
4) what is your favourite Disney springs restaurant/lounge that takes reservations?
5) how much crap will I get in for booking as 2 people when it will just be me?

Yay to this stage of planning 😁

1) yes unless you are late for the reservation
2) brunch and dinner are great… I prefer brunch.
3) yes to WBG !
4) Homecoming, WBG, Ragland Road
5) modify to one after you book

1. Yes, I would have an ADR booked that falls within the 2pm+ PH hours.
2. Either is great!! You cannot go wrong.
3. Never done WBG solo, but it would be a good choice because of the type of food served.. not super huge portions. We have never done Jaleo.
4. Raglan Road or Boathouse.
5. You shouldn't get any slack for booking for 2. At mobile check in, you can modify your party. In January it was much harder to find an ADR for 3 vs 4. So each ADR we booked was for 4 and had no issues. It's all part of the flaky Disney IT.

Have fun planning!

My ADR day is today. Got up at 5:30 a.m. just hoping for Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Space 220 Lounge. I was able to get HDDR for 9/15 but had to settle for 8:30 show. No luck with Space 220 Lounge but I will keep trying. On a whim I reserved California Grill for 9/14 but only time available was 9:55 p.m. I've never had such a late dinner reservation, but weplan to be at MK for 9:00 fireworks so maybe it will work out well.

On another note, the WDW has been so glitchy for me the past couple of days, no matter what browser I use. I haven't been able to even review menus on the dining part of the site without receiving the "bad gateway" error. I had to do my ADRs on my phone. Has anyone else had this recently?

EPIC

We have a couple of trips to make up for. Our 2019 trip go cut short due to the hurricane and then 2020 trip was just a disaster for us. Due to the prices going up on everything everywhere we know we probably won't be back for a couple of years. We are also celebrating both of our 50th birthdays.

I've cancelled and rebooked park reservations what feels like 100 times but I think I've narrowed down the plans now and actually am quite happy with all of my dining reservations!

9/10: Uber to AKL, pick up magic band and drop bags, Uber to MK/Contemporary and enjoy finally being BACK!
9/11: AK for EE; ADR at Boma
9/12: DHS for EE; ADR at Wine Bar George
9/13: MK for EE; mid-day break; ADR at Le Cellier
9/14: AK for EE; ADR at Sanaa; MK Deluxe Evening hours and fireworks
9/15: Eat around the world :) F&W booths and wandering World Showcase, maybe fireworks
9/16: MK for EE; ADR at Skippers; midday break; DHS for evening ADR at Oga's
9/17: Resort day - Homecomin' brunch; pool time and maybe head over to Trader Sam's and/or Jock's Hangar in the evening
9/18: Epcot for EE; ADR at Space 220; wander AK for awhile and eat at the Satuli Canteen before hopping in the FOP queue right at closing
9/19: DHS for EE; pack up; maybe wander MK and maybe go to the deluxe evening at Epcot, especially if I haven't seen the fireworks there yet. Will definitely all depend how exhausted I am by this point!
9/20: get over to Universal for part 2 of my trip - check into RPR, park time and dinner in Citywalk
9/21: maybe EE for a few rides; pool/nap/chill time; Cowfish(?) for birthday dinner; RIP tour for HHN!!
9/22: sleep in and spend the day at Universal/IOA once I get moving; probably Citywalk dinner
9/23: EE, mid-day break for some pool time, back to the parks and maybe Strongwater for a drink to end the evening
9/24: EE for a few hours then back to the hotel to pack up and head to the airport about 2pm.

Only one ADR is for a place I've tried before so this should be fun! Not to mention that I haven't even seen Galaxy's Edge yet, never mind ridden MMRR, Ratatouille and Guardians!
