Sounds like great fun and your dates are almost the same as ours. 9/18-9/25.
Same MNSSHP too! My advice - get in the spirit and dress-up! When you are in costume you have so many more interactions with other guests and CM's. Our girls only group consists of my two adult DD's, DF and myself. We will be Miss Piggy, Kermit, Pinocchio and Ursula. Say "Hi" if you see us and have a blast!
My best Disney friend and I are going in September for what will probably be our last adult-only trip!! We are going all out for this trip!!!!
September 19-25, Royal Room at Port Orleans Riverside!
Deluxe Dining Plan:
9/19: Arrival, Dinner at Rose&Crown (hoping for a patio seat for Illuminations view)
9/20: Chef Mickey's for Breakfast, Hollywood Brown Derby for Dinner and Fantasmic
9/21: Monorail Crawl, Trail's End for Dinner, MNSSHP!!!!
9/22: Cape May for Breakfast, Bar Crawl through DTD, dinner at Fulton's
9/23: Lunch at San Angel, Tony's for Dinner, Wishes Dessert Party
9/24: Tusker House Breakfast, Le Celleir for Dinner
9/25: Crystal Palace Breakfast, Departure
Any tips on MNSSHP or Wishes? We've never been! Also, does anyone have any inside tips on how to maximize the most out of our deluxe dining credits?!
AHHH!!!! 45 days!!!!![]()
This is how the weekends up until we leave for FL shape up:
8/11 block party
8/19 going to visit a friend outside of Wash. DC for the week
8/24 drive back to NY, back to school shopping
9/1 Labor Day weekend (school will start the following Wed.)
9/8 Pack
9/15 Land at MCO around 9:45 am.
That doesn't seem very far away now; does it?
We'll be at POFQ from Sept 18-25th! What time is your Chef Mickey's ADR? We'll be there at 10:30am...we love a nice big, late breakfast. We're also going to MNSSHP on the 21st! We loved it so much on our last trip. My DH and I say it's the best money we've ever spent at WDW. If you want to see the 7 Dwarves, line up early! We lined up at 6pm last time and we were about the 5th family in line. It was great! See one of the Villain shows in front of the Castle. You can ask the CM's where each Villain will be lined up after the show. They only do pictures, no autographs, and they don't stay out too long. The Boo to You parade is the best I've ever seen!! Line up early because the Headless Horseman rides through a bit before the parade begins.
Trick or Treating is the best. We went home with TONS of candy! There are also so many characters out and many are ones that you don't see often (Queen of Hearts, Abu, Genie, Timon, King Louie, Jane & Terk). We didn't do many attractions but the lines were empty (Pirates, Haunted Mansion). Don't forget the special photo ops too like Cinderella's Carriage, magic Photopass photos (hitchhiking ghosts).
Our Chef Mickey ADR is 8:15! We love to start out early on our first full day! And I'm not sure what characters we'll line up for, but I am sooo excited to see all of the villains and I'll have to add the special photo ops to our MNSSHP todo list for sure, especially Cinderells's Carriage! Is that usually somewhere by the castle, and do we really get to step iinto it??
