For MNSSHP- Dress up even though you dont have kids, trick or treat, and ride the crap outta the rides cause there are NOOOOOO lines!!! And make sure to hit the parade!!!

We are totally planning on it!!! Now, the kid in me that refuses to grow up is a HUGE candy addict. I've heard that the candy selection is a touch disappointing. PLEASE PLEASE tell me this is NOT TRUE!!!

We are doing MNSSHP on our first night there 9/18!! I am sooo excited! We have never been to it before!!

That is awesome! I have been crossing my fingers that there would be some soft openings during September. I'm hoping the same for Test Track too, but who knows.

Just paid off my balance

With Mom's passing, a heavy financial burden has been placed upon my shoulders. Seriously was on the verge of canceling our trip, my aunt and myself.

However, talked it over with family (especially the Aunt going with me) and decided not to cancel after all. Since the trip was completely paid for already (with the exception of travel money) and any refund would not be for the full amount nor would it come in time to help with the most pressing issues anyway.

But more importantly, Mom is the one who arranged for me to go with her sister.... and while Mom was ill, I told her I would cancel and stay home with her if she needed me... She was ADAMANT in the fact that she WANTED me to go and have a good time... The thought of canceling on her behalf was out of the question. So I am honoring her wishes by continuing my trip... even though I know some people wouldn't understand.. Now just have to come up with traveling money...

As for my drawings... they were something I started last year for her to get involved and I eventually began posting them online. Started them up at 100 days this year and each day I brought the picture to Mom... whether she was in the hospital, rehab, or even the short 2 weeks that I had her at home. The last drawing I did was on the day she passed... and my heart hasn't been in it since then... I will draw again someday, but THESE have stopped

I'm glad to hear you are still going to Disney. It will be nice to be there with your aunt and to remember and honor your mom.

Although I will miss your drawings, your talent will always be there when you are ready to pick it back up again!

We will be there!! Ordering our tickets later this week. I didn't even realize it was going to happening while we were there, so I had to change one of my dining reservations, but I think it will be worth it. A great end to our first Disney vacation
