I don't know if anyone is going to purchase the photopass cd, or the new photopass plus CD, but they just released the preorder for the photopass plus for $169.99 vs $200 you MUST purchase 14 days before your trip.

I had alread purchased the $99 pre order CD in Feb. But I am able to upgrade to the $169.99 I just got off the phone with them.

Thanks for the info! We also prepaid before the price went up and I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade now.

You upgrade by calling photopass, they then give you a $99 cash credit on your account, it takes 24 hours, then you go back in and buy the photo pass pluss for $169.99 and you only pay the $69.99 now because you have the $99 credit from before.


I do think this is a good deal, you get the ride pics on your photo cd. so if you do splash 10 times yoiu will get 10 photos on your cd.
plus there are many character meals too
CRT, Chef Mickey, Ohana, 1900 PF There are more but I can't remember them all
some ride photos are ToT, RnR, Splash, Space mt. Buzz, again there is more than that too.

Yes, if you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and have pre-purchased the Walt Disney World PhotoCD you may upgrade your PhotoCD to the Disney PhotoPass+ Pre Arrival offer by contacting our Guest Support team at 407-560-4300 or visiting the Contact Us section of our website. You will need the name, phone number, and email address that was used to purchase the PhotoCD.

Q. I have a large family—how many Disney PhotoPass+ cards will I receive?
R. Only one Disney PhotoPass+ card will be provided with each purchase. However, multiple PhotoPass cards can be accumulated during your visit, and all of those photos can be added to your account. In order to receive your Attraction and Dining photos, the PhotoPass+ card holder must be present at the time of photo capture.

Q. Disney PhotoPass+ is not the right product for me at this time. Will the PhotoCD still be available for purchase?
R. Yes – if you decide that Disney PhotoPass+ is not the right product for you at this time, you can still purchase the PhotoCD.

Q. I have already purchased a Dining print package and/or Attraction photo. Can I receive credit for those amounts towards my Disney PhotoPass+ purchase?
R. Of course, any attraction or dining photo purchase made within 24 hours can be applied towards the purchase of Disney PhotoPass+ with a valid receipt. We will not be able to apply purchases made more than one day prior and receipts are required.

Q. I purchased Disney PhotoPass+, is shipping for my PhotoCD included?
R. Yes, standard domestic shipping for Disney’s PhotoCD is included with the purchase of Disney PhotoPass+. Express and International Shipping are not included but can be purchased separately. Guests who select Express or International Shipping before checking out will be required to pay the appropriate amount before completing checkout.

Q. What happens if my Disney vacation is longer than 14 days and I purchase Disney PhotoPass+?
R. You can collect as many PhotoPass Photographer photos as you like on your Disney PhotoPass+ card, however only Attraction and Dining photos taken within a 14 day period will be included.

Q. Are images captured at Pirate’s League (available only at the Walt Disney World Resort) included with my Disney PhotoPass+ purchase?

Q. Are images captured at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique included with my Disney PhotoPass+ purchase?

R. If your family splits up and goes on different Attractions you may save your Ride Stub with the photo # and later on stop by the Attraction to claim the photo with your Disney PhotoPass+ card. Keep in mind that photos are available in our system for only 48 hours after capture; make sure you visit the Attraction to claim your photo within that time period.

Q. What if I go on an Attraction multiple times, will I receive an image each time I ride or is there a limit?
R. You can collect as many Attraction photos as you like. If you ride Space Mountain 10 times then you will show your Disney PhotoPass+ card at the Attraction’s photo center and they will scan the image each time you ride – you would then have a total of 10 Space Mountain images!

Just found this group, so I'm jumping in. Hope that's okay.

We will be staying in a LM room at AoA 9/19 - 9/26. Our crew is me (Amy), DH, DD6 (Scarlett), and DD2 (Stella).

I was so excited to be able to book roundtrip airfare for $300 this week. For the first time we'll be flying instead of driving!

The trip is a surprise for the kids. We still haven't figured out exactly how (or when) we are going to tell them. It will also be their first airplane ride.
