That sounds better... but the day I was there couldn't go any further than pooh... so couldn't get into tommorowland!! Wonder why?

We are at pop for 11 days it is either a value or go for a shorter amount of time.

Am so excited after making ADRs for Ohana, Tusker House, Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon! Being first timers I was a bit worried about how the process works but the online system was very good.

As far as I know we won't have free dining (booked CBR in January and the Travel Agent didn't mention anything about the dining plan at all). Does anyone know if it is worth asking about free dining now? Not too worried about it as our will be 9 year old is a "foodie" and is past kids menus but any kind of free eating is hard to pass up if it's a possibility!

I would absolutely ask! The free dining promotion is set to expire on May 18th, so I would ask soon. It's hard to pass up free money, or food in this case!

Yes, call and ask about the free dining. What's the worst they can say....no? The buffets you have planned are well worth having the dining plan for your son.

What a great way to celebrate a birthday.

Can't believe I never saw this thread! I am so joining in.

We will be there from Sept. 23-29, staying at POFQ. :D I am so excited! But probably way overthinking things! I was wondering if I could post my tentative plans (or what I have so far anyway) and get some input from y'all who go fairly regularly. I have been before, but not since I was a teenager and I've never had to plan it all myself! LOL the dining plan especially is very new to me and trying to figure it all out is kicking my butt!

See ya there!!! I just had my reservation at POR switched back to POFQ because I was able to get free dining finally!!! :wave2:

I love celebrating birthdays at Disney!!!

Mine is Aug. 31st... have been able to be there on the actual day twice now.. but usually go a week later to avoid the labor day crowd.... but you can celebrate your birthday the whole trip!!! Have fun... may see you at MNSSHP!

I too had to do that, I have stayed in a Mod before and really see no difference. The resort is bigger but we don't spend much time there anyways. I would much rather stay at a value longer, more Disney time!!! pixiedust:

Hey Omalleycat...definitely call and ask, buffets are good for big eaters and also you can pay to upgrade your child to an adult. A friend of mine did that for her child last year.

I agree with ThereYouSeeHer...call and find out, before friday!!!

Don't change Liberty Tree, the food is so delicious. I am disappointed we are not going this year (just doesn't fit into our schedule). The bread with the honey butter is amazing. The glaze on the ham is to die for (we asked for the recipe and make it every time we cook ham).

We don't find much of a difference either.

Help me pick

We have ADR at 1900PF Breakfast
the day before we have CP Lunch, but I know Pooh and Tigger will be at 1900PF to. I have 2 kids, 5 & 7 should I keep or change CP Lunch?

CP is our least favorite character meal because it takes over an hour to meet all the characters....that is too long for our kids to wait.
We love 1900 for breakfast, we do it every trip. Try the lobster eggs benedict and strawberry soup.
