Official September 2012 planning thread! List on page 30!

Officially booked for our next family trip with the ILs (yep,I am lucky that my MIL is a fellow Disney lover:lovestruc ). We will be staying at POR in the Royal Rooms 9/25-10/2. It is my one year old's first trip, and we will celebrating my older daughter's fifth birthday on the property. :cheer2: She is going to be over the moon excited! Now off to change my ticker.

Sept 1-8! going with MLindisney for my moms retirement and my graduation from grad school!!! Staying at the poly! received a 30% discount:cool1:
We also just upgraded today to the deluxe dining plan! BRING ON THE FOOD!! (this banana's for you mom!)

Hey Kim! This will be such a fun trip for us! Can't wait to go and do adult Disney! Thanks for the banana!!!!!

I am looking for some advice as I have just recently considered switching from Pop to CBR (in the pirate room).
We currently have free dining from Sept 23-Oct 1 and upgraded to the Plus dining (1 TS and 1 CS) plus plan on renting a fridge at Pop.
Just wondering if it would be worth switching to a moderate since the free dining included the Plus dining with a moderate so we would save money as we wouldn't have to upgrade. Also, from what I can see the mini fridge is included in a Mod so we would also save $10 a day ($80) in total. We also have 9 day basic park tickets.
Can anyone give me advice if I should try and switch (assuming they have rooms available)???? My DS(6) would absolutely love to stay in the pirate room.
Advice please:scared1:

We stayed in the pirate room last year and loved it. We are big time pirate family. They also have a pirate cruise for the little ones from there that your son would love as well. If it was me I would pick the pirate room over POP. We also had a corner room and here was so much more room in the room as well.

Thank you stephles. After thinking about it and doing some quick searches, I think the Pirate room at least at CBR is going to out of our price range but maybe a standard room at CBR or another moderate might work out. Desperately seeking some advice before I call and see if there is anything available where I can still use the free dining.

Thanks again for your help :)

Well as official as it can be until we pay off the trip portion... lol...

We bought our flight tickets today :banana::banana::banana:

Southwest had a deal - $260 for Manchester, NH to Orlando return... direct flights, 2 free checked bags!!!!!!! Woohoo... Means we have a little drive to get down there but who cares... we're going to DISNEYWORLD again... now all that is left is to pay off the actual trip lol... :rotfl:

just over 7 months to go!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I think it would be totally worth it to go with a moderate!!! By the time you pay for your fridge and upgraded dining from the QS to the regular dining plan it won't be that much more. We stayed at Coronado Springs last year after staying at All Star Movies the year before, and it was SO nice!!! The pools at the mods are SO fun!!! We all loved the slide...and we used the pool a few times a day...September is so hot!!! Ha!

I say look into it...I don't think it would cost you that much more! pirate:

I'm calling next month to book our trip to BCV. We own at BLT so I have to wait until my 7 month mark. I've been lucky in the past and have gotten a reservation at 6 months and at 7 months out. I hope I have plenty of pixie dust this time:goodvibes! I'm trying for Sept 20-29. Since F&W starts on the 28th I may have to bump it back a few days. I look forward to chatting with everyone in the months to come. :goodvibes Thanks for letting me join you guys!:lovestruc April

Here is a question for all...last year the October group set up a facebook page for our group - is anybody interested in do that. It is a private group just for us, if so, let me know and I will set it up :thumbsup2

Just jumpin' on board with you guys! We're not yet settled on a date but we will definitely be arriving sometime in September. I'm cruising around the DIS, watching for updates on FD, Y.E.S. programs, etc. I will let you know when our dates are firm so you can add us to the list. :)

Very excited first timer checking in from New Zealand and eagerly awaiting September! DH, DD8 and I are booked at the CBR Sep 1st - 24th. 2 weeks doing WDW and 1 week for Discovery Cove, Seaworld, Gatorland etc.
I am excited about the strangest things, for example the re-fillable mug, going under the Welcome to Walt Disney World sign for the first time and seeing squirrels!
Not sure about doing ADRs, I think we are more counter service type people but my dino-mad daughter is very interested in the t-rex cafe. Will it be Ok to just rock up and see if anything is available on our DTD day?
Have just seen that our first few days will be Labor Day holiday, will that make things quite crowded? 2 years ago we were at Disneyland on New Years Eve and survived so hoping we can handle it.
I know we will be spending several days at AK, dinoland alone looks like a full day for us!
Have already received lots of great tips while lurking on Disboards and feel ready to go right now! (we even got our U.S dollars the other day) but the planning stage is fun too.
