Its definitely possible, it'll depend on how popular it is on the currently scheduled showings are. Based on the popularity of the soft openings this past weekend, it really wouldn't surprise me to see nightly showings added. But we may now know that anytime soon. After this weekend, ROL is only scheduled for Tue, Thur, Sat, and Sun until the second week of April, at which point it's basically scheduled for every night, right?
What do you think are the odds of them running the show every night earlier than the second week of April?
Asking because our AK day is scheduled for Friday, March 31 (currently a non-ROL day), and I've decided that it's not worth changing our plans around to see it on a different night. However, we'd likely book a ROL dinner package if they end up adding our date to the schedule.
Oh right. So no other softs internally scheduled until its debut on Friday then? They were on the internal schedule.
That's correct, 2 shows on all 3 three days, not two on just Sat and Sun as is being reported.Oh right. So no other softs internally scheduled until its debut on Friday then?
Thanks! I've updated the top post with opening weekend showtimes etc. Is next week still scheduled as alternate nights? Any talk of nightly performances? That's correct, 2 shows on all 3 three days, not two on just Sat and Sun as is being reported.
No changes next week..................yet. It probably depends on how this weekends shows are received and if the crowds next week justify additional shows. As is evident by the updates, things appear to be in a state of flux. Thanks! I've updated the top post with opening weekend showtimes etc. Is next week still scheduled as alternate nights? Taking my 3 year old and 1 year old in a few weeks. Is RoL something worth keeping them at the park late for? Shows can be hit or miss for kids this age and staying late is kind of a big deal, so just wondering if its worth it... not sure if its a show that kids their age would like?

We saw the show last night (my 4-year old and I) - I have mixed feelings. The show is perfect for Animal Kingdom; it's visually beautiful, the lights are amazing, the whole show just looks fantastic. I liked the music, but didn't go away humming it or anything. I thought in general it was very well done. Harrison sat through it, but got fidgety after about five minutes. By the end, he'd lost interest. I saw a few younger kids in the audience who seemed restless after a while, and I don't think this is a show for that age group. Now there's nothing wrong with that - catering to older kids and adults - but I think a nighttime show that closes the day should appeal to multiple generations. We were supposed to see the show again tonight but Harrison asked to go to Fantasmic! instead. He can sit through that show, through Illuminations, Wishes, etc, but RoL was the first one I've seen him seem bored in.
I liked the show, I really did, but I don't think I'd say it was spectacular. We're going to keep our dinner package for next week, but then I don't think I need to see it again for a while.
Maybe this can help ...
I don't think it matters. The elevation difference between the higher and lower benches is not that great to begin with. It's not like at the Fantasmic Amphitheater. I stood at ground level, which is a few feet higher than the highest benches, it was fine. For those that have seen it, is there any sense as to whether it is better to sit higher up or lower down for the best view? Or maybe it doesn't matter?

Currently, Yes.Is there only 1 show in May at 9:15?
