Fulfilling a Disney vaca bucket list dream and have a trip planned with 3 generations of family

Arriving 12/2-12/8. Split stay 2 nights at Contemporary, followed by 4 nights at the Swan. We have tickets to MMVMCP for 12/3, rest day planned for Wednesday followed by two park hoper days on Th & Friday. Extended family flies home Saturday but the 4 of us will go to Jollywood the Saturday night to close out the vaca.

It’s me, DH, DD 10, DS 7
My mom, brother, and husbands parents. We’ve all vacationed together before and all get along great (for anyone wondering if this is a good thing or not lol). To say I’m excited is an understatement! I’m going to be crying many tears of joy this trip, to see our parents experience the magic with our kids is an absolute dream.

Wow! I just realized I making dining reservations in less than 3 weeks. I started this thread a year ago. Time flies!!!

Yes! I have my plan A and plan B list going. I have to do two days of dining reservations because we have a split stay. I’m super grateful the new MP system recognizes split stays. Wish dining could update!

I've got it pretty easy this trip. I already made Wine Bar George and Amare reservations on Open Table.

I just have to do Skipper Canteen at noon on a Wednesday which probably won't be very hard.
Boma for breakfast and then another one for dinner on a different night, again shouldn't be an issue.
Trattoria Al Forno for breakfast.
Ale & Compass for 5 pm dinner
Whispering Canyon for a 6:30 dinner.

Honestly I don't think I will have trouble with any of those! But someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Our ADR Day is 2 weeks from Friday! It's my granddaughter's first trip so it's character meal central over here. lol

Crystal Palace Breakfast
Garden Grill Breakfast (hoping for a Candlelight Processional package, depending on the narrator)
Hollywood & Vine Breakfast & Mama Melrose Dinner (hoping for a Fantasmic package for one of these)
Tusker House Breakfast

I was thinking that too, so I will make this one first. It's just lunch, so we can be flexible with the times!

How exciting!! I did those exact character meals when my son was 5 years old! One thing I did do that was a big hit if it doesn’t cost too much today—-

I ordered him a Disney gift basket with a Star Wars theme— the company back then made deliveries so I had them place it on the bed before we arrived.

The basket had a huge card from Mickey wishing him a magical day. He was so surprised and shocked. He said “ Mom, how did Mickey Mouse know I was here?”

Priceless! It was the best first trip! Remember to take breaks mid day - he even took naps.

Nov extended evening hours have been released but nothing for Dec. Thinking Epcot may have ETPH Mon/Thur maybe the last week of Dec AK EETPH Wed. HS is probably just going to just get late closure on 12/30 & 12/31.
