Okay, I wussed out and only reserved a couple of Oga's for myself and my kids, ditto for Via Napoli and then one BOG for the 1st... I'll be alone, but of all the table services I think this one would make me feel least self conscious.

I really wanted to try Tiffins and am surprised Boma is not listed as open for October, I know the hotel is open.

We are still trying to figure out which parks we want to go to At least we have October 1st and 2nd booked. No clue on the rest; I wish they would add more hours, so I know where I should go to take advantage.

Boma is scheduled to open on August 26 so may not be loaded into the system yet.

~The DS boats to OKW/SSR
~Crews Cup Lounge
~Typhoon Lagoon (We prefer the theming over that of BB)

+1 on Crews Cup! Big fan of that place.
I also am a real sucker for Enchanted Tales with Belle.

So we changed our resort from POP to AKL...woke up this morning to find out our 6:50am flight got changed to 5:15am flight on the way down! I can't believe its that early, earliest flight I've ever had.

I’ll wear a hazmat suit if I have to, nothing could keep me from this trip at this point. My gf feels the same way.

I was there last Sept and between masks and sanitizer and physical distancing, and sanitation I felt completely safe!

Theme park hours have been extended for Epcot from October 1 through October 9.

Epcot will be open 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which is an one hour extension on the previously published closing time of 9:00 P.M.

The only thing that might cause me to cancel would be masks required outdoors as well. I really don’t want to do that. So hopefully, numbers will go back down by mid-October.

I can live with mask inside just not outdoors and raise the age to 5-6 at least elementary school age

Howdy! We're going to be in WDW 10/10-10/16. I'm waffling between GF Standard RPC & Poly 1BR. I also just discovered that one of my best friends from high school is going the same time we are (and she has 2 young daughters as well) so we're planning to split a VIP tour, if we can score a reservation. She's done VIP tours before, but I have not - so I'm SUPER pumped!

WDW announces October evening extra magic hours for deluxe resort guests:

Monday, October 4: EPCOT from 10:00 PM to midnight

Wednesday, October 6: Magic Kingdom from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Monday, October 11: EPCOT from 10:00 PM to midnight

Wednesday, October 13: Magic Kingdom from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The only thing that might cause me to cancel would be masks required outdoors as well. I really don’t want to do that. So hopefully, numbers will go back down by mid-October.

Ugh I really am hoping masks outside don’t come back! We were there towards the end of April before the outdoor mask restrictions were lifted, it wasn’t unbearable but it was also only April and hadn’t really warmed up yet. We won’t cancel because we have DVC points that would end up wasted if we don’t go but we would likely be by the pool all day and avoid the parks if they bring back masks outside. And what kind of 50th anniversary trip would that be?

Last July for AP previews, outdoor masks were pretty brutal! What made it worse for us at least was having to stop to eat/drink. We frequently snack on popcorn and rehydrate walking from ride to ride and that was much tougher. Oh, and the HEAT. Yeah, it was sweaty under there. Changed 3-4 times in a short day. Looking forward to October where it won't be quite so hot (hopefully)

Our 10/4 park pass was for Epcot and I’m considering switching it to another park now that we know it has the deluxe hours, so we just end up hopping there in the evening.
