***OFFICIAL*** October 2011 - Updated 10/08/11

Lisa, I can empathize. After years of not having migraines, I have been brought to my knees so many times this past week. I go right home from work and lay down in the bedroom because they are so bad. No time to pack, plan or anything Disney. I think it's the weather. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Primarily, because I have not had any chocolate this week: the kids are what I had at home and the vending machine at work is out.

I was hoping to pack a bit tonight, but DS's wrestling coach called, so it's off to practice....45 minutes away from home. I hate driving this much!!!! I've already put 100 miles on my poor van today taking DH to and from the oral surgeon.

OK...enough whining for now. I can always start packing and re-checking my lists when I get home at 8:30 tonight, right? :rotfl:

We are moving from Atlanta to Nashville TOMORROW! I will be so glad to get this move behind us and get settled so we can start counting down to our trip. I was able to change our flights on AT for free b/c they shifted the time a bit. I moved it to an evening flight the night prior to our original flight. Extra full day at WDW for us!:cool1:
If the changes in food don't take them away, I will definitely ask my doc about this. Thanks!

Awesome DBF is good with the costume!! :thumbsup2

Funny thing about sinus headaches - I found out that most people who think they have sinus stuff actually have migraines. However - easy way to tell. If sinus meds work for you, it's sinus. And yes, there are lots of food triggers for migraines. Chocolate is a big one. Red wine, aged cheese, msg are others, just to name a few. The article I was reading said you usually need more than one trigger to induce a migraine, which was key for me to read because I was keeping a journal for a while and nothing was standing out but I was looking for one thing, not multiple things. If she keeps a journal with foods and weather patterns and such, she may find what's triggering her migraines.

I figured out that using Splenda in my coffee was giving me really bad h/a's. Back to the sugar I went. So much for decreasing calories. :headache:

Yay for moving to Nashville! I believe you said you were going to be in Franklin - which is where I am!:thumbsup2

Double YAY for an extra day!!:banana:

We are leaving tomorrow morning! :cool1: If anyone would like to get somewhat live updates, follow me on twitter. My name on there is Jesameca.

We leave right after working for the morning during lunch break... just started and finished packing... what?! LOL :rotfl:

Ah I overpacked, I am sure, but with 2 costumes, running clothes for a race, etc etc you can't really fault me.

I am going to Disney World!:cool1::banana:

Yay for those leaving shortly! I'm so jealous. Let me know what the weather is like!! :) Have a great trip!!

My costume came today. :cool1:

If it's not 90 degrees i'm going to wear a black shirt and black tights under it.

Super cute! Can I ask where you bought it? Seems like all the Disney costumes at the local Halloween stores are the Slutty versions! Haha!

I bought the Minnie dress at the Disney Store online. More expensive than I wanted to spend, but it was really the best option. There are some Disney Store dresses on eBay from previous years, but none in the right size, so DH told me to just do it.

There are also patterns available if you're handy with that sort of thing. DMIL is in florida for a month or I would've tried that route. I haven't sewed anything since I was 11. I even take loose buttons to my drycleaner for repair. :rolleyes1

On an unrelated note -- Go Rays! I'm exhausted now with way too much to do today. I actually went to bed 3 times last night. DH got me up when we tied it and I heard him shouting when Red Sox lost.

Terri, I am glad the Rays won as well!!!

Would you guys believe I did not get home until almost 9:30 last night?!?! There was an overturned tractor trailer on 295S and I was stuck in traffic from a little before 8pm. And I live in SOUTH Jersey....there is no traffice below exit 24 on 295!!!! Ok..rant over.

I dropped in to bed exhausted last night, so I did not work on any Disney related stuff. I did pass a Home Depot and was about to stop in, when I realized we would probably be late picking up DS from practice if I did that. LOL I can loose myself in Home Depot....I love that store.

I am hoping to actually start packing tonight. I am pretty sure this weekend will usher in the official fall temperatures for Jersey, so I can start packing the capris and shorts, tank tops, etc. Swim suits have been in the suitcases since Labor Day.

Oh!!! I know I posted a family pic a few pages back, but I don't think I ever told you guys my actually name. It's Melanie. So, you know...if you're looking for me in WDW, you can actually see my name on the stroller. I have a cute little stroller sign I made up with our family's names all over it. My hubby's name is Donny (and, yes, his favorite character is Donald Duck....we do the obligatory pics every trip. :rotfl:), DD11 is Amy, DS10 is Kyle, and DS2.9 is Quinn (can you tell which kid I got to name? :lmao:). So, that's us.

Amy is almost my height, and we just found out she has the same unruly-curly hair that I have; she had her hair cut this summer (it had been down her back....she donated to Locks of Love) and it immediately went in to crazy curls. I've been apologizing nonstop since her hair was cut. She loves ToT, hates Splash Mountain, and wants to try Space Mountain again this trip. I'm hoping I can get her on BTMRR, but I am not going to push. I pushed for Splash Mountain last trip and have never felt more guilty in my life....she just does not like that drop!

Kyle is my daredevil, for lack of a better word. He loves all the thrill rides. He wasn't sure about RnRC this last trip, but with encouragement he went on and fell absolutely in love with the ride. He's very much in to sports and can quote you statistics until you go in to a coma. He doesn't have an appetite a lot of the time, but has promised to try some new things.

Quinn is just my tall, gangly little guy. He has red hair like me and is extremely tall for his age (I blame is 6 and a half foot dad for that. lol). Last time I measured him, he was 39 inches. Can you say child swap? :goodvibes And a copy of his birth certificate is already in the diaper bag/mini backpack. I am hoping he doesn't freak out with the characters, but no worries if he does...it will make for great pics to torture him with. I can't wait to see his face, though. And his big brother and big sister are so excited to be "showing him the ropes".

Donny is very tall and does not do roller coasters. At. all. The man would not even get on Goofy's Barnstormer (feel free to make fun of him should you see us! :rotfl2:). Yet he rode the orange version of Mission:Space. Go figure. He goes on the teacups, while I wave from the fence. He loves to try all the different foods with me and is just as much a kid as I am when we are there.

OK....off to actually do some work now. You guys have a great day!!!

I'm getting married today!!! Just sitting around waiting for my hairdresser to show up to the house. I'm gonna cry all day! So excited! Wish me luck! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I have to say yay for you! I'm not a Rays fan because, well, I'm a Phillies fan, but I'm all for comebacks!!! That was an exciting game!! :thumbsup2
