Would everyone be interested in we had a list of things like PL, BBB and tours? Basically anything you make a reservation for besides resorts and food. I think Shannon has been putting MNSSHP dates at the bottom of the resort list. We're October 16th btw. :goodvibes But I was thinking about the possibilities of running into each other entering and leaving PL and BBB. Plus how cool would it be to find out we were doing Behind the Seeds together? I wouldn't mind taking care of the list. People can just pm me. I can keep making posts until I get a good top of the page position.:rotfl:

Here's mine:

October 16
Parla - Pirate League 10:20AM
Parla - BBB 11:00AM

October 17
Parla - Behind the Seeds Tour 4:30PM

October 18
Parla - Haunted Carriage Ride 9:30PM

October 19
Parla & Family Loves Disney - Illuminations 8:30PM (We're looking for three more people to share with. It's $40 a person.:goodvibes)

How's that for a start? Just like our Illuminations, if you want to keep me updated I will update the post if you are still looking for people to share with.

Great idea!! I can add a few things:

10/25 8:00 a.m. BBB
10/25 MNSSHP

10/26 Lunch with an Imagineer (just my husband is going)

10/27 Wonderland Tea Party

I've changed resorts too! :dance3:

Decided to rent DVC points from someone on here and instead of a family suite at AsMu, we're staying in a 2 bedroom villa @ SSR. It's only costing about $600 more, so we figured since it was the kid's first trip, we'd splurge and go deluxe. :woohoo: Dates are still the same, Oct 11-18.

Just read the first and last page and perhaps one day will try to weed through the others!
Add us to the party! October 26th through November 2nd. 2 Rooms at Pop Century. Myself and new hubby as well as my two now grown daughters and one of their boyfriends. SOOOOO excited - haven't been in 5 years. First trip for my handsome man and daughter Erin's boyfriend!
Looking forward to munching our way around the Food and Wine Festival. Just looked at Park hours, thinking no early entry days (first time ever), but no real plans. It is so different travelling with adult "children". Hoping for Free Dining.
I have the Planning Party scheduled - July 16th, complete with prizes for the Trivia Contest. Planning DVD, every Disney feature from the Travel Channel, HGTV and History Channel. (Maybe I should have alerted my DH to my slight obsession before we married?????)

Thanks,
Dawn

A planning party sounds like a wonderful idea. We have traveled with our grown sons and their wives but I never thought about a planning party that would have been such a great idea to do.

All things considered I do not think a obsession with Disney is something that your new husband will have a problem with afterall look at all the fun he is about to have

Congrates on the change. I think you made a wonderful choice ! :thumbsup2

We are having a WDWFT escape wedding at the YC at 10 am. We are staying at the Movies resort the 19th-23 of october. We are just going to wing the eating part lol.

After waiting what seemed like FOREVER (actually 3 months), I got a PIN today and booked our trip! (Just 16% off, but better than nothing!) They didn't have any standard rooms available at any of the moderate resorts:sad1:, but I was able to get Pop Century. We've only stayed at POR in the past. Any comments on the differences? I may call back later to see if any moderate resorts get an opening. I'd love to stay at POFQ. I also went ahead and booked Cape May Cafe breakfast, but may change it to a breakfast that includes Mickey if I can. If FD comes out, I'll probably switch to that. I went ahead and booked the DDP since I figured we want to eat at LTT, Nine Dragons, and at least 1 character meal.

Any suggestions on good character meals for a a 2 year old? He knows the fab 5, but not Winnie the Pooh or Disney Jr. characters.

The only big thing I still have to do is buy our MNSSHP tickets. Oh, and figure out who is going to watch the dogs while we are gone!

And after my fun Father's Day plans getting ruined, it was nice to have some Disney magic in my email.

Yay! We will be at the same MNSSHP!

Congrats on the pin, even if it wasn't the one you wanted! My DS loves Pop, we were there last fall for our MNSSHP trip, (TR is in my signature). It's newly refurbished, so it's really nice!.

We really like Tusker House at Animal Kingdom for breakfast. We have also done Chef Mickey's. I love Crystal Palace, it could be a good way for your DS to get to know some new characters?

Sorry your Father's Day plans didn't turn out!

happy father's day to all pirate:pirate:

i know that weather is a fickle element in all vacations and i don't expect anybody to be able to correctly forecast the middle of Oct weather (specially in the middle of June), but i am curious as to what the average high and low for the week of
Oct18 - 26. Everything i have read says high's of 85; is that correct. Just trying to figure out if I need a shopping trip to find some cute tank's.:rolleyes1

Hey, try this website..I think it will give you a good idea for your vacation week..

We are doing MNSSHP but not sure what dates. We have the option of 16th, 18th, 20th and 21st. Was thinking the 18th as its a Tuesday and would probably be lower crowds. But the 21st is our last night so that might be fun as well. Any advice?

Not sure about the 16th and 18th, but I do know the 20th is discounted and the 21st is not discounted. I am going to be there from the 19 to 25 and plan on taking my chances with the Friday 21st only because AK and DHS both close early that evening and Epcot is not the place to be on a Friday night during F&W. I have read that sometimes the non-discounted nights are not as busy as anticipated, for what that is worth.

Be interesting to see if they extend Fantasmic for every night in October too as I am sure that will affect crowd levels at the parties on Thursdays and Sundays.

We will be at POP the 14-23 and have chosen Sunday Oct. 16 for our MNSSHP. It is a discounted night. My thoughts were that locals would likely not attend on a Sunday night and I thought it would be nice to do the party early in our trip so that we'd have plenty of yummy treats to munch on the rest of the week. Personally, I don't think I would do a party the night before departure just because I would want to have everything pretty much packed up and ready to leave the next morning. Not sure what your travel plans/distance are though, so maybe in your situation it would be fine. At any rate, I don't think you can go wrong with any date you choose. Good luck and happy planning!:thumbsup2

We also have a YES program page around here somewhere that I am keeping track of.

We are doing MNSSHP 10/25 :goodvibes

I'm down! Though there is not much to add...

Ocotber 25
MNSSHP

I decided against Pirates League because on our cruise last month Jack had no interest in getting his face painted like a pirate at the Kids Club, and that was free! So I definitely don't want to pay for it and then have him not want to do it! I will just do it myself with some eyeliner! :rotfl:

Shannon has the party dates at the bottom of the first post. You're already there. :goodvibes Good idea skipping pirate league if he didn't want the paint. I can't wait for DH and DS to do it together. I'm only sad that DD and I can't stay to watch because we have a BBB appointment. It has nothing at all to do with the fact that I don't trust DH to properly purchase the photo at the end and get the proper information to add all the photos to our photopass.:sad2:

Welcome! I can't wait until my kids are old enough that we can go as all adults. Even more so I can't wait to take my grandchildren. :rotfl:

I added your BBB appointment. Shannon is putting MNSSHP on the first post and Nikki is taking care of meals (I saw a tea party on her list already). :goodvibes

That is a very early BBB. Your daughter is going to have a blast being a princess all day long! :cloud9: Of course I'm just assuming that the appointment is for your daughter. :rotfl:

I think Chef Mickey's is the best choice for a 2 year old and the fab five. It's so bright and cheery in there and we had tons of character interaction. If you could watch some Winnie the Pooh before you go our favorite place to eat every trip is Crystal Palace. Also bright and cheery. Lots of windows. The characters are great and they do a parade with the kids. We haven't actually been to Tusker House but we did breakfast when they had it at Donald's Restaurantosaurus. It was great but much darker in there. We can't wait to try Tusker House though.

We have the same dates as options. I decided to go with the 16th. I'm sure it won't be as bad as a Friday or Saturday and I wanted to do it early in the trip. This will most likely be our only MNSSHP trip and if we feel we miss too much I would like the option to change up my plans and go again later in the week. Plus the kids are doing PL and BBB that same day and I know they will be bugging the tar out of me up until they actually go to get made up. :rotfl:

thank you looks like i may need a shopping day :rotfl::rotfl: Also better start lifting hand weights :rotfl2:

I'm right there with you!!! Hubs and I are starting Power 90 as soon as we can drag our lazy butts out of bed in the AM!!! :lmao:
