So, after seeing the threads about Fantasmic possibly being increased to daily through September, I am sitting here wondering if Disney will throw another wrench into my planning. There was discussion that it might be extended until the end of the year. If that happens, then I will need to redo my DHS day to figure out a way to not get bored before the show.

On the upside, this would mean I get to keep that new Kona reservation.

Nikki! I need to update my ADR's...
10/25- Kona Cafe 10:35 am
10/27- Tusker House 8:35 am

I canceled all the others!

Honestly, I hope they don't (don't kill me, everyone lol ). Like I said on Facebook (ya'll join if you haven't.. it's nice having an intimate group to discuss plans with!), I'm all thrown off because they changed the dang EMH days. So I'm debating on switching up my ADRs to get me off EMH days when I thought I was already not going to be in any of the EMH parks. If they add Fantasmic every day, I'm going to have to reconsider my DHS lunch ADR (Mama's) to a dinner ressie and hit the parks later too, b/c I can't see staying there all day. Gah, why couldn't Disney have set the hours and EMH changes BEFORE the 180 day ADR schedule instead of 2 months after. :sad2:

Smitch, same thing here. I priced out my exct vacay too to see how much it went up so I could price out some "hopeful" discounts and mine was the same price also, not sure why either, unless the prices just didn't hit yet?

At least now I know I'm not crazy!Well...I guess we could both be crazy, but at least I'm in good company!:lmao:

We are flying austin, tx to orlando 10/22 and continental has once again changed our departure times on the connecting flight from houston to orlando :headache: Originally scheduled to arrive in orlando at 12:15 pm and now it's 1:49 pm. which is 1 1/2 hrs later. The other option is a 5:45 am flight arrive at 10:50 am. But the continental agent we spoke with said there might be more flight changes done.:scared1:

So I don't know what the prices were before for multi day tickets, but when I look on the wdw site, the ticket prices drop dramatically when you go from 1 day tickets ($85) down. 7 day ticket prices are $38.14 a day. Maybe they didn't change the prices on multi day ticket???? :confused3 I don't know what they were before.

Regarding special ticket events like Party for the Senses, MNSSHP, etc. Does anyone know, what if you make your reservation well in advance and then your trip has to be cancelled/rescheduled due to a hurricane? Would Disney refund the cost of that special event ticket? Just wondering because I am thinking of booking Party for the Senses and that actually happened to us one year. Our trip was scheduled for mid October and a hurricane hit the same day we were to arrive. MCO was closed so we had no choice but to postpone our trip.

I purchased tickets for MVMCP last year then we had to cancel our planned trip. There was a no refund policy for those tickets so I ended up giving them to a friend here on the DIS who was going to WDW same time as me.

That is the one of the reasons I am waiting on buying tickets for MNSSHP this year until I am at WDW or at least till closer to my trip.

same reason we are waiting to purchase our tickets. But I am one of those people who like everything done well in advance, so waiting is killing me:rotfl2:. Hate the unpredictablility of weather.

Yikes - a 1 1/2 hour change?
We fly AirTran and they have been notorious for changing their schedules - but so far so good - no changes yet for us! Other than the price, that is...... Luckily I booked in March because the same exact flights would now be almost $1,400 more for the 5 of us!

According to the ticket chart on AllEars, multi-day tickets did increase......for instance my 8-day MYW Park-Hoppers increased by $26 per person. Thankfully we already bought tickets through the YES Program!:)
That's weird that the increase hasn't been applied to the MYW Packages yet....it is reflected however when you just purchase Park Tickets separately.

Same with us for AirTran, though only for 3 people. We bought them back in March at $110/ticket and they are now at $215/ticket. :scared1: They went up pretty quickly after we bought them too. I'm so glad we got them right away!! We were going to wait and see if SW came down, but it didn't take us long to see they weren't going to, so we sucked up the baggage fees and decided to go with AirTran. SW tickets are almost $300/each now out of Philly!!

Holy cow! I'm wondering if this is a glitch or what.... Our flight is up to $571/person!! Yesterday it was $280 something...

HOLY COW!! I'd bet tomorrow they'll be back down again. I know airlines have windows where they drastically lower and drastically raise prices to see who will take the bait. Maybe that's what they are doing now. :scared1:

We chose to take the 5:45am flight.:sad2: I HATE waking up that early. That now means we have to wake up at 3:00 am to leave for the airport by 3:30 am at the latest. But, at least we get to MCO at 10:50am :yay: We will head out to downtown disney and eat at Earl of Sandwich. Then over to OKW resort to see if our villa is ready. Plenty of time to go buy groceries and head to a disney park.

Personally, I would have done the same thing!:rotfl:

We always take an early flight so we can check-in early and spend our first day at MK! Our tradition has been lunch at Casey's and then IASW......my first-ride tradition since I was a kid!

This year our flight is at 6:30, so we also have to wake up at 3am. The kids get a kick out of it, after all.....
WE'RE TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!

That's the hard part.. trying to go to sleep early the night before a flight. I need to find a sleeping pill  so I can go to bed early.

Wow, that's crazy!!! I was actually checking out SW, just to see if fares went up or down, and our flight went down! That's the first time that has ever happened to us! So now we have $150 in SW credits, that should make convincing my DH to take a trip in May a little easier! :thumbsup2

That sounds like a good plan, I would definitely have opted for the earlier flight! :thumbsup2 It's a pain getting up so early, but you're on the way to Disney, it's not that awful! :rotfl:

We'll be waking up at 3am too! Our flight is at 6am, arriving at MCO at 8:45am. That's good though because now we get to hang out at Stormalong Bay all day!

Haha!! I am laughing reading all these early morning flight stories!! We do that EVERY time!! We love it!! Not the early morning thing, just the get up and start your vacation right away feeling!! We have a later flight in January, I don't know how we will be able to stand waiting around to leave for the airport!:sad2:
