I was all excited since the PM EMH for Epcot changed from Tuesday Night to Wednesday until I found out the F&W booths do not stay open late

TP sent out updated crowd levels based on the new calendar changes and unfortunately the parks are not going to be more crowded than before, of course I expected such I knew the preditions usually change as you get closer to your dates

We were waiting to see if we could get FD or a PIN before we booked. Does anyone know if I booked now with the current ticket prices, but called to add a discount, would we have to pay the price difference on the tickets? Everything I've read says that if you book now you pay the current prices, but no one seems to know what happens if you add a discount. It isn't that big of a deal for us since it is only an $18 + tax increase for us, but since we are definitely going, I'm not sure what we should do.

Im going to have to rework mine. Epcot is a major factor in our trip this time. We plan to spend a couple 1/2 days in WS tasteing the world. Now its gonna be a little more tricky to juggle MNSSHP, F!, EMH, Columbus day, and throw in WWOHP on a slow day over there.
My head hurts thinking about it.

I'm not entirely sure, but a travel agent friend said that you would pay the new prices if you "make changes" after June 12th. I would book now and add the discount later if you can, since like you said, even if you have to pay the difference it isn't that much, and the discount will probably save you more money anyway!

Had to tweak park days a bit due to the change in Epcot evening EMH. Switched Epcot to Wed. (from Tuesday) and Thurs. Changed DHS to Tues. from Wed. At least I was able to switch ADRs around and get our same times and restaurants. Whew.

50's Prime Time 12:30 p.m.
No afternoon break, power-through until closing or whenever we're ready to leave.

Wed. Oct. 19: EP
Via Napoli 11:30 a.m.
La Hacienda 7:45 p.m.
Afternoon break at POFQ, return for ADR and evening EMH.

Thurs. Oct. 20: EP
Coral Reef 11:55 a.m.
DH and I F&W in the afternoon. DD and family will be at MNSSHP that night, DH and I are planning to go to the Poly for dinner at Capt. Cook's and watch MK fireworks from beach.

Fri. Oct. 21: Departure day, 7:25 p.m. flight, plans up for grabs...probably MK and a last swim at POFQ before 4 p.m. at ME pick up. Lunch at CHH if at MK, WPE if we decide to go to DTD instead. Or...geez. I gotta stop this. DHS for one more ride on RnR and lunch at Starring Rolls.

Ok, I'm done. Maybe.

This is a weird vacation for us, at this point I would normally be freaking out about park hours changing..rearranging our ADR's...but with only 2 park days that are set because of our cruise in between..they can change all they want and I can't change my plans....
I think I kind of miss it..

Yes! I feel the same way! I have 4 days and it seems every second is locked in between the 5k, dinner with my parents on the one day our trips overlap, etc....so much to do, park hours don't concern me at all at this point! But I totally get it! It's almost like I miss freaking out about making changes. That's all part of the fun!

I have to plan around Yes class and MNSSHP so it really kills a few days. Of course NOW the day I had for Epcot is a pm EHM. I have to reaarange it all over again. i am NOT enjoying it

The Disney Food Blog is reporting that the theme of the 2011 Epcot Food & Wine Festival is "Passport to a World of Flavors" and that three new World Showcase Food Booths will be added to this year's festival. The new booths are Scandinavia, the Caribbean Islands, and Hawaii.

Yay!!! When does all the stuff get officially announced? I am so excited! I should look for a F&W thread...

For my week (22nd-29th), the changes I noticed are:

EPCOT's hours on Friday are extended from 9pm to 10pm
EPCOT's evening EMH moved from Tuesday to Wednesday
EPCOT's morning EMH moved form Friday to Tuesday
Animal Kingdom's morning EMH moved from Wednesday to Friday

Time to double check your ADRs and Touring Plans!

Hmmmm, I will have to check these out... but I am not sure I can do much rearranging of our schedule regardless...
