The new AK EMH day screwed me up. I had us booked for an 8:30a breakfast at AK on Friday the 14th, but that is now an AM EMH day there so I had to change my DHS and AK days. Luckily I was able to get pretty much the same times at all the restaurants on the new days.
So my ADR changes are:
Friday Oct 14
Mama Melrose 12:05
T-Rex 7pm
Saturday Oct 15
Rainforest Cafe 8:30a
San Angel Inn 7:15p
Of course, seeing that now I have 2 Landry's restaurants back to back. Hmmm, not sure I like that.
Before RFC was on Friday morning and T-Rex was Saturday night, so several meals in between the 2. I might have to reconsider the RFC breakfast and shuffle that around.

Just got off the phone with a very polite reservation agent, and I asked her if I would have to pay the new ticket prices if free dining or % discount came out for my dates. She said that as long as I keep my ticket selection the EXACT same (meaning no adding extra days, no adding park hopper or no adding WP&M) that I will keep the old original ticket price.
Now...who here thinks she is right?

I hope she is correct although if a good enough discount came out I would not worry too much about the $40 increase in tickets price

Another food question: I justed book Mickey's BBQ 
, been debating about this because it is 2 meal tickets.
So I a wondering how is the food? I know the kids will love the show but curious about everything else.

Smitch, I'd be very hppy IF she were right. I was over on the theme prk thread and they seem to think if you apply any new discounts or make any changes you will be charged the new ticket rates 
. I guess we'll see.
SJS, yes, I agree, if the saving is substantial it won't matter but... still stinks. I am hoping for FD or a % off, as it stands if FD is offered I'll have to pay the $90 for the book, now the $85 for the tix increase my discount keeps getting less and less. I have to go do the math and figure if FD is offered and I change would I spend more if I just pay OOP. I guess I'll see what/if a discount is offered and get out my calculator

FD will be a no go for us, since it is only DH and myself I did the math before you had to purchase the book and before the increase in tix prices and then FD would only save us $29.88 over the 20% room discount pin we are using so with the addition $130 it would cost us $100 more for FD
I am still holding out hope for a pin or GP discount greater than the 20% we have now

If she is wrong, our ticket cost would go up by $112 (2A/2C 9 day base tix), but I get your point. I think I'll just take comfort in the fact that I won't have to pay anything more if no discounts come out. Well...ya know...after I actually pay it all off!

I may have missed something as I just read the last page or so but last year when FD was announced, I don't think I paid anything different for the tickets. Maybe that's b/c the ticket increase usually doesn't happen until the first Sunday in August and FD was announced before that?

I went ahead and canceled my Le Cellier for 10/24. There is just no way with all the awesome F&W stuff that I will be hungry for steak. Plus Jack wouldn't really enjoy it, so I will save it for next time.

Okay, so I thought I'd price out and save our exact trip on my DH's Disney account in hopes that it would trigger a PIN or some kind of discount email. When I priced it out, it is the EXACT same amount as what I currently have! How can that be??? Are the new ticket prices not in their system yet? I thought they went up on Sunday???? Were they released, but not yet in effect???? Totally baffled! Anyone know why this would be? Here are my details...
