Need your opinions please...
Just saw the updated October travel agent's calendar and Fantasmic is now showing every night we are there 10/22-10/29. I have a lunch ADR @ Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic package. Debating whether we will need the priority seating for the show?:surfweb:

In the 30s today!!! 39 days!!! It seems so much more real and I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

I wanted to book the Fantasmic package just for the reserved seating but then they weren't showing Fantasmic everyday so I decided not to.(Originally it wasn't being shown Friday) I think we are going to take our chances and be in general seating like everyone else. We are leaving the park for dinner at Cape May and then coming back for Fantasmic.

I'm glad your husband kept you busy all day. The kids teachers gave them a homework assignment to watch at least one show about 9/11 and then they wanted to keep watching. The older 2 were only 1 and 2 and the youngest wasn't born yet, so they were very interested.

I didn't even know anyone personally affected like you and I'm still so emotional/bothered/raw/sad/angry/upset by what happened that I can't help but cry when I even start to think a lot about it. All those babies that lost their parents, all those that lost their friends, brothers, sisters, the list goes on and on. I remember hearing a story about how they had police cars at bus stops to pick up kids that day in case there were no parents waiting for them to come home and that just broke my heart all over again.

And here I am a sobbing mess again.

That story breaks my heart too-i can't even imagine that. So many lives changed forever. I saved the last voicemail I had from her for almost a year--it was nothing special, but i loved hearing her voice. I could repeat it word for word by the time I decided i was ready to finally let go. I went to bed last night with a picture of us, feeling really sad. I'm glad JP kept me busy all day, but when our house had settled down for the night, it was too hard to keep my mind occupied. Today has been better, I did a lot of vacation planning which put me in a happier mood for sure. I found a Disney Princess Wallet for Zoey that I am going to put a gift card in for her to use when we are at the park--I know she'll be so happy to have her own wallet--and she loves being able to swipe gift cards when she goes to shopping. She takes after her mom!!

I think you need to have time to process but it was good your DH had you preoccupied for most of the time. Today is a better day. My DD loves swiping gift cards too and she got a TON of them from her Grammy for the past year's holidays and such, so she'll have a great time! Of course, she won't be spending all of that money on herself for things to bring home or she'd be a spoiled little girl who didn't pay for her own treats, but she'll have enough for sure! Getting her a little wallet to put one of them in is a great idea! :thumbsup2

41 days today! 41. 41. 41. 41. 41. 41. 41.

Countdown calendar starts tomorrow. Weird day, I know. I wanted to start on 45 but couldn't fit the last 5 days on the board! :rotfl:

Thought I would share a pic of my babies on their first official day as a football player and cheerleader.

BTW, I received our first set of shirts that I ordered. As soon I take a pic of them, then I will post it.

The one thing that can't be taken away is your memories. It sounds like you cherish them, what a way to honor your friend.

I am debating getting a wallet/purse for Mariah. She is 12, but she can be kinda blond at times. I'm worried about her losing it!

You know what that means!!!

What? Creepy guy?? :dancer:

Great picture! Hope they have a great time! My husband's a band director, so we spend every friday night with the cheerleaders and football team! So much fun!

Mickey Mail arrived today at 33 days till Disney. Still waiting on the DME, but should have that later this week as well. Everything is falling together.

So cute!

Here is one of Zoey on her first day of soccer. She was bummed she got the grey/black jersey team and not the pink team (we had to point out there were no pink teams!)

Thanks everyone for your kind words and support, it has helped over the last 2 days.

She is just too cute! My DD 2 1/2 is now falling in love with all the Princesses. I love it! The last few days we tried to get her dressed in shorts and a tshirt and she cried and said "No dress, pretty princess" with a little sad face. I need to go out and buy some more dresses cause we are on day 4 of that.

Thanks! She is a HUGE dress fan, wears them every day and cries when she has to wear pants. School started last week and i told her she had to wear pants 2 times a week, Tuesdays when she has gym and one other day. She agreed to it, and when i asked her what tomorrow was she sighed and said "Pants day". I don't mind so much in the summer if she wears them every day, but in Upstate NY in the Fall and Winter, she needs to wear pants!! I've slowly started pulling aside her summer dresses and hiding them so i can pack them for Disney.

Needing some pixie dust. We are scheduled to go with my parents in 39 days (as of tomorrow). My mother has clots on her lungs, and just did another week long stint in the hospital due to them. We are really hoping they will be able to join us on this trip - if not, I will be devistated.

Of course, I just want everyone to be healthy on top of everything.

 I really hope everything works out for you and that everyone can go and be healthy.

And here's hoping for that pixie dust :wizard:

We finally hit the teens and I am really wanting time to slow down I am not ready. I have SOO much homework before we leave!

Catira, I noticed too that now F! is offered every night. I was hoping that would thin out the crowds for each day:confused3 I have the F! package booked from way back when it was offered only twice the week I am there and my DHS day was at avoid this park day I was hoping this would help but touring plans still has DHS at high levels for my day :(

Disneysarah, best wishes!!! I hope your mom gets better.

MsSmith, sorry for your loss. This is a difficult time of year and to think it's been 10 years already is just crazy. Feels like yesterday. Hope you are feeling better.

I am FINALLY in the 30's!!!

doing the 1 month :dance3: will be waiting at the airport to board!

Question... What do you get in Mickey mail before you go?? Do you get more than just your ME tags??
