We got the older 2 Keens that were a very good deal, but I can't find any for the younger one that isn't an outrageous price Then I ordered her a pair of Crocs sandals from Amazon and they are just a little too big. I'm not sure if they will work or not
DH and I love our Keens! Wish I could get the boys to wear them.

We'd like to either order one from AK and have it delivered to our room or get one delivered to Crystal Palace from the Contemporary bakery for our first day. We aren't having the dining plan, so we can use it to supplement breakfasts It is vacation after all!
Delivered to your room would be a great idea!
And cake for breakfast = YUM!

We are still trying to decide about handheld fans, too. I should check some camping sections this weekend!
For Myrtle Beach we bought Mister Bottles.....they are shaped like a water bottle but you can pump the handle to build-up pressure (no batteries needed)...then release the pressure and they spray a very fine mist of water.

Thank you! I literally wrote that poem in about 45 seconds. I was honored that she used some of my lines!
I am a Taurus. I have no idea about zodiac stuff, so I googled it and here is what I found (the red ones are me, the rest not so much, but perhaps occasionally)...

The Taurus personality is one of the most easily recognizable of the zodiac. These are steady, reliable people who only rarely get frazzled or upset. Like a bull, the Taurus personality will almost never lose course and will remain level no matter what chaos surrounds him. Taurus knows his own strength but usually handles situations with dignity and self-control. Push him too far, though, and the Taurus individual can suddenly turn into a raging bull, and once this happens, he will be difficult to calm. And oh yes, lest we forget, the Taurus individual is stubborn - the most stubborn of all the zodiac signs. Once he forms an opinion, he is immovable, and nothing will change his mind. Taurus likes the good life, but tends to be careful with money, slowly building up wealth as (s)he goes. Not all Taureans are rich, but you won't find many at the very bottom of society. :rotfl:

I know many a Taurus and they are good people. :thumbsup2

The zodiac is fun for me. Like I said, I'm a Pisces and if you read up on us, we're, well, let me find it...

Pisces is the sign of mysticism, mystery and the spiritual unknown. Pisces live in two worlds, the real world and the spiritual or mystical world where they interpret what they see into what they want. They do this to avoid all the realities of pain and suffering in the world. They have extremes of emotions and feel both good and bad intensively. Pisces have formidable intuitive ability. Most Pisces are somehow involved with occult or spiritualism. Pisces are very good at understanding people for they have the ability to delve into the psyche and see behind a person's motivations. Pisces are prone to drug addiction and indulging lifestyles because of their eternal search for themselves and their fear of confrontation and having to change a situation, also they justify drug use by allowing it to get closer with their 'spiritual selves'. Once they aware this is why they are doing it, it will be easier to kick the habit. Pisces are not the pushovers that they may seem, in fact they have strength of character and will stand up for what they believe in and and they can do hard work for something they believe in. They can be very lazy but only in matters that they do not care about. Pisces is the most sensitive of all zodiac signs.

So we're highly regarded, no? :lmao: Some of it's true, a lot of it's not (I am not into the occult, thanks). But it's fun to follow!

Anyway, nice job.

Here's how you can think about it......
Go to the first party and have a GREAT time!! SUCH a great time that EVERYONE comments how fun it would be to come again! Your DH will surely "melt" once he sees how much fun his Family is having. So then when you are standing there in his arms watching Wishes, bring up the subject of a 2nd party and at that moment he is sure to give in!;)

love the idea - hopefully it will work. But more importantly hopefully he doesn't read this thread and figure me out.:lmao:

oh don't forget the coffee only at Disney could you have cake and eat it to (anytime)- you need all the energy to make it through the parks. oh Specially if you have little ones to push the stroller.

My goodness! We are a busy thread today. :lmao:

I love the oil blotters - I need to order some, too. I've never used them, but I am very fair skinned and end up looking like a lobster when I get overheated.:scared1:

I want cake for breakfast, too!:yay:

I'm a Scorpio - so of course I had to look it up:

Scorpio is the astrology sign of extremes and intensity. Scorpios are very deep, intense people, there is always more than meets the eye. They present a cool, detached and unemotional air to the world yet lying underneath is tremendous power, extreme strength, intense passion and a strong will and a persistent drive. Scorpios have a very penetrative mind, do not be surprised if they ask questions, they are trying to delve deeper and figure things out and survey the situation. They always want to know why, where and any other possible detail they can possibly know. Scorpio's are very weary of the games that other people try to play and they are very aware of it. Scorpios tend to dominate and control anyone that lets them, or anyone that they find weak. The person that a Scorpio respects and holds close to them is treated with amazing kindness, loyalty and generosity. On the outside, a Scorpio has great secretiveness and mystery. This magnetically draws people to them. They are known to be controlling and too ambitious but only because they need control for this makes them feel safe.

Well! I am not living up to expectations.:rolleyes1

I've got the PhotoPass CD on my list, as well. They have a lot of good information on the PhotoPass site about where to find photographers. http://www.disneyphotopass.com/aboutdpp_map_gen.aspx It is a bear to find it, so I keep the link handy.;)

My boyfriend laughed at me when I brought them home. Then he tried some on and bought them  He had crow for dinner that night :)

I just don't know if we want to haul bottles around, know what I mean? We had little hand held ones last time that worked well. I downgraded my bag size this trip since the kids are older this time.

Can you tell I don't feel like working today??
HaHa! Me neither!:rotfl:

For those wondering, here are some E.L.F. blotting sheets that you can check out. http://www.drugstore.com/e-l-f-professional-shine-eraser-blotting-sheets/qxp156867?fromsrch=blotting+sheets You can find them in the beauty section of most major stores.
Dang - I was just at Ulta yesterday - I bet they would have them!

Anyone else have any tricks of the trade you can't do without? For me personally it's curly hair gel and clippies. My hair is naturally wavy and there is no chance of straightening it in FL, so I get some Aussie Catch the Wave and clips to hold my bangs back and I go. I'm hoping my hair will be long enough to pull my hair back by then, but my hairdresser cut my layers pretty short last time and I hate putting 15 clips in my hair to hold it back. And for some reason headbands just roll off my head! :rotfl:

Same here....Naturally curly hair that I prefer to wear UP in the heat. I use Redken's Power Tame 16 and although it's a product for straightening, it works great for soft curls with no frizz.
Since headbands don't work for me either (whats up with that BTW?), my favorite hair clip is the Flexi8 (www.flexi8.com)

Haha! Scorpios are very much like Pisces only more stubborn and controlling. Cancers are as well except more "mama's boys." and girls. It's the water signs. We're all the same just to varying degrees. Perhaps your rising sign reflects more of your personality than your sun sign and that's why the discrepancy? :confused3 Oh, I find this stuff so fascinating. I have two books from the woman that used to write astrology for Cosmo (also Nancy Reagan's astrologer - I forget her name - Helen something). One is "Love on a Rotten Day" and one is "Born on a Rotten Day" and they show the bad aspects of your signs. Pisces says basically "You're an alcoholic, drug addict, s*x addict who's ideal date is on the cardboard boxes in the back of a liquor store." :lmao: (that's not true btw - I prefer beer )

I got one of the little handheld fans from the Disney store for DD that will easily fit into a bag this year. Hers has Minnie on it but there are others as well. Last time we got a battery operated small fan that was almost the size of a small water pistol. You could fill it with water as well and it misted slighly. I think I got it at Walmart so keep an eye out.

HaHa! Me neither!:rotfl:

Ok, how do you use them??? I have thick hair and can never get it to stay up in those kinds of things. Is there a trick to it??? Cause it looks cool!!

Ok, this thing is so cool and I'm thinking I can get 2 for me and DD to share!!! Thanks for posting that! :thumbsup2

Thank you for explaining my ex-husband! :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm a crazy gemini.

I will be at the POP Oct 15 - 22 also! Almost in the 40's! :banana:yea:banana:LOVE the wii/mario/luigi costumes btw! I may steal your idea for me, DH, and DS(8), but not while at the world, once we get home for halloween!

I hope you will send pictures if you use the same costumes! What a compliment on wanting to use the same costume ideas! Maybe we will run into each other while down there!

Reading the reviews it looks like the Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets are the winners! The only complaint is that people want them to be bigger.

No trick - very easy to use - just dont know how to explain it?
There are 2 interlocked pieces - so you never have to worry about losing part of it.
The only trick would be knowing which size to order. My hair is very fine, so I think I use an Extra Small and Small. The site does a pretty good job of explaining how to choose.

I bought mine a couple of years ago and I still get compliments all the time because it's so unique!

Awesome! Do you use a sewing machine for anything or is it all by hand? If you do, what kind? I've been asking for a machine for my bday and xmas for years and for some reason I never get one. I don't know why. :confused3 It's not like I haven't gotten other small appliances for gifts! :lmao:

Yes, I have a Singer 237 Fashion Mate machine. It is old, like from the 1960's, I think. I bought it from someone selling it because she didn't use it. I just had it cleaned and it works great! I've been told that the older machines are made better and if you can get a Singer, it is a good machine. But, I don't know anything about them.

I have really really straight, long, fine hair. Most everything I buy just slips right out of my hair. :headache: Do you think this would work for me, or do you think it would probably slip out like everything else?

Did anybody have any luck with the new FD dates being offered? Our dates are still blacked out, but to make myself feel better, I sent a tweet to @WaltDisneyWorld letting them know they forgot to include 10/15 or 10/16. :)

First time on here. No clue what I am doing! Can you tell? : ) Just wanted to say hi and that I am VERY excited for our October trip!
