Ok, since we did a resort change, I had to change around a few things. First off, I canceled my WCC dinner and LTT dinner ADRs. I think I am going to keep the rest of my ADRs sine they are lunch and breakfast ADRs and those are cheaper than dinner.

I have added The Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party for October 17 @ 8:20 pm and the Haunted Horseman Carriage ride (I hope that is the name of it) for October 20 @ 10:30 pm.

Other things to do?
Golf Cart rental from Kenny - check
order annual passes - still need to do (come on Disney with the refund from my WL package so I can purchase the tickets)
order MNSSHP tickets - still need to do
Order specialty shirts for me and the kids and maybe the parents- still need to do
Written the letter for the kids to get out of school - check.

What else is there besides packing?

Update to list of things to do besides pack:

Annual Passes - check, ordered this morning
MNSSHP - check, ordered this morning
order Photo Pass - check, ordered this morning
order specialty shirts - still need to do
purchase Tables in Wonderland - will do on arrival

I NEED this vacation to come sooner than later! The poop has hit the literal fan at work and I'm being thrown under the bus for something. I left yesterday and didn't want to go in today at all. I just keep saying to myself 57 days!!!

Let's think of happy Disney things today! :wizard:

I think I finally have the kids shoe situation under control!

Things to do:
Pack
Order MNSSHP tickets
Pay for taxes and fees for the car rental when we get to Tampa
Finish party costumes
Buy oil absorbing sheets and blister stick
Think of how to surprise kids with trip :cheer2:
Buy and Laminate LG Mickey heads from Home Depot
Order the Cake :woohoo:
Make MNSSHP invites and "tickets" for the kids
Work on grocery list for when we stop

Sorry to hear about work, Tricia. Hope things are going better today.

Do you mean those oil sheets for your face? I got some of those a million years ago in Canada, but don't think I've noticed them here in the states? I'd love to get some. Those things were great. Where do you get them?

Not much left for me to do. Everything is paid for, ADRs set, etc. I do need to write out a grocery list and make up a list of which CS meals I won't to try. I'm hoping to get to a bunch of places I've never tried before. Shouldn't be too hard, since I ate at primarily TS meals my last trip. :)

For those of you flying with kids.. care to share what you are putting together to keep them occupied? The last few years when we've vacationed, we drove. So this is almost going to be like a first flying trip for my 2 youngest (they were infant and 2 the last time we flew back east). I have 4 kids (4.5, 6, 8 and almost 10). I picked up some little Phineas & Ferb activity packs at the Target dollar spot. We have 1 Nintendo DS that I *might* take. Not sure if that'll cause more fighting than it's worth? Might bring one of the laptops for a movie? We all have iPods so we'll bring those. Other than that...?? This is a surprise trip for them, so I can't ask them what they'd like to bring along.

So sorry to hear about your problems at work. Work stress is some of the worst kind.

I should probably get my list of things to do before trip together.

Thanks guys! :grouphug:

I do mean the oil sheets for the face, I tend to get oily with sunscreen and then sweating. Yuck! I'm going to get them at Wal-Mart, Target or Shopko. They have them online as well on Wal-Mart and Amazon.

Our trip is a surprise as well. I am packing them each their own bag. There will be a new Disney book for each of them, their Nintendo DS and their iPod touches. Plus I will have the itineraries printed out, one for each, so they will be able to review it and talk about the trip!

I haven't used them before, I just read about them on another thread :surfweb: I was going to just kind of scan them at the store and see what they have, the costs and how many come in a pack. I bet they have them at Walgreens, too. Normally I use Neutrogena products, but I would use Oil of Olay or Clean and Clear also.

Thanks for the compliments! I always know I can find people to share in my excitement here! I get weird looks from people when I tell them I have completed my Halloween costume! If I hang around here long enough, I'll think I can make anything! When I was trying to find the Mario/Luigi hats for DH and DS2, I came across some super easy instructions. So, I bought the material and tried my hand at it. Here is how they turned out! (I had to put them on my pottery since neither guy would cooperate with me wanting a picture.)

Now I'm on the hunt for some cheap overalls for DH and DS2. If anybody has any suggestions, please post them!

We are down to 52 days until we leave! I am sooooooo ready to get away from reality and live in a fantasy world for a week!

Awesome! Do you use a sewing machine for anything or is it all by hand? If you do, what kind? I've been asking for a machine for my bday and xmas for years and for some reason I never get one. I don't know why. :confused3 It's not like I haven't gotten other small appliances for gifts! :lmao:

First of all -

Second of all I haven't done anything yet as far as packing goes but I realize now that I'm at 59 days I need to get all my proverbial quackers in a row! I printed out my lists yesterday so I can go through everything while we're stuck inside with Irene bearing down on us, so at least that gives me something to do. Once DDs bday is over I'll be able to start picking up the rest of the little things I am going to need like toilettries, but most of that stuff we already have. I'll just need to refresh some things. Other than that, here's prolly what's left:

get travel craft kit for DD for plane
finish out shopping from Amazon (stroller rain cover, airport carseat carrier, camera cover, etc)
final trip to $ store for missing items
order Halloween tees for me and DH
make sure DD fits into her clothes! (she's growing!!)
get polka dot pedi before trip! (I'm looking forward to this the most!) :cloud9:
pick up tickets from AAA
pack

I have 4 pages of lists so this is an extremely condensed version. DH decided to wear a tshirt for the party that says "GO CEILINGS!" on it (get it? He's a ceiling fan! :rotfl: Cracks me up every time!), so I'm just going to wear a tshirt as well. Probably the Snow White tee of her holding the apple from the Disney store. I love that tee. Dare I say there is something so, um, sexy about it. :rolleyes1 Anyway, I thought it was kind of appropriate for a Halloween party and I love it, so I think that's what I'll wear. Maybe I'll buy a crazy color wig too!

So DD is going to be 3 and the last time we flew she was 10 months, so not much help from personal experience but I did ask a friend who flies all the time with her two boys what she does and it might help at least with the younger ones. Bring along a book or two and headphones so they can listen to the music on the plane. For some reason kids always get a kick out of plugging headphones into the seat no matter what they are listening to. The iPods will help and if you have a row of 3 seats, you can get 3 of them to watch a movie on the laptop while the other plays the DS. I think you can get an adapter that allows 3 headsets to be plugged into one port. You can probably find that on Amazon. I'm bringing our portable DVD player to keep DD occupied but I think she'll be more fascinated staring out of the window, to be honest. I'm also bringing a little travel coloring kit filled with markers, crayons, paper and coloring books. Plus I have some surprise books, stickers and little dollar treats I picked up for her from Target's dollar section. How about those little travel games you can get at AAA or something? They might take up about 15 minutes or so.

Oooooo yeah, get a pedi needs to be added to my list for sure!!!

Things at work are better already. Had a meeting with the medical director and my manager and everything was a HUGE misunderstanding! Thank goodness!!!!!

so glad to hear that everything at work has calmed down.

I am not a pedi girl - my feet are so ticklish I laugh so hard when anybody touches my feet. But this year I am going to one so I can wear sandles and polka dotted toes. DD wants one also might surprise her with one (she is only 6 but sometimes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do).

I laugh, too, so I tell them not to massage the bottoms of my feet! I can handle the rest of it.
