I'm doing the same to myself. I keep looking to change my ADR's. Instead I keep adding them :lmao: What a waste of the dinning plan, I'm going to end up paying for a bunch OOP anyway.

So question, I see there is an 8:15 CRT ressie open that I'd really like to book but it's a park day that MK doesn't open till 9 (No EMH that day). I assume they let you in with ressie's right? I know stupid question, they would allow the reservation if you couldn't get into the park but I just want confirmation ;)

Yes they allow you to enter the near empty park early for your ADR. That is a great time I would grab it if you want it before someone else does. I have an 8:05 for CP one morning can't wait.

Thanks SJS, I was hoping I was correct. It will be our last day and I thought that would be a great photo op and a great way to end our trip. I didn't make any other early ressies as I didn't want to have to wake DD or rush and have her cranky for the rest of the day. This seemed fitting as hopefully, being up early she will sleep on the plane home. The buses at the resorts start at 7:00 am? So if I catch a 7:30 am bus I should be there in plenty of time?

The buses to the parks for the character breakfasts start running at 6:30. I would try to be at the bus stop no later than 7:15 just to be on the safe side, so as not to miss one and end up getting to MK late.

I just printed off the F&W map/menu and highlighted everything I want to try. It's a big list, but doable for Brent and I since we will pretty much share everything. All are subject to change based on food appearance, I'm picky like that! Let me know when you see the theme.... Here is my list:

Caribbean: Frozen Rock Coconut Mojito, Dragon Berry Colada

Mexico: Lime Strawberry on the Rocks

China: Pork Pot Stickers, Xinjiang Barbecue Chicken Stick, Caramel-Ginger Ice Cream

South Korea: Lettuce Wraps w/Roast Pork and Kinchi Slaw, Boolgogi BBQ Beef w/steamed Rice and Kimchi

South Africa: Seared Filet of Beef w/smashed Sweet Potatoes and Braai Sauce(anyone know what kind of sauce that is?), Bunny Chow(Vegetable Curry served in a Bread Loaf

Cheese: Cheese Fondue w/Sourdough Bread

Germany: Nuernberger Sausage in Pretzel Roll, Apple Strudel featuring Werther's Original Karamel Sauce and Vanilla Sauce

Poland: Kielbasa and Potato Pierogie w/Caramelized Onions and Sour Cream, Belvedere Strawberry Chiller

Italy: Baked Cheese Ravioli w/Creamy Beef Bolognese Sauce, Parmesan Cheese and Melted Mozzarella, Cannoli, Primavera Smoothie

Fife and Drum: Red Stag Lemonade by Jim Beam

Singapore: Singapore Sling

What are you trying?

I'm causing trouble at 87 days to go... I'm rechecking hours, parks, park recommendations, ADRs... Sigh.

I can't find a spot to put Earl of Sandwich and I really wanted to try it.

One of my favorite meals from my March trip was EOS, and I ate at a several signature restaurants. :goodvibes Highly recommend!

I'm also contemplating my ADRs (again... sigh :sad2::laughing:). I have a dinner ADR at T-Rex on Thur and a lunch ADR at RFC on Sat. Personally I think those restaurants are just ok, but I know my kids love RFC and have never been to T-Rex (will no doubt love that too). But RFC and T-Rex have basically the same food choices, just renamed. I just can't decide if I want to move my AK RFC meal to breakfast (which is equally as "meh" IMO) and try Flame Tree for lunch (never had), or change lunch at RFC to Yak & Yeti (also "meh" to me). Or cancel my RFC outright, not rebook anything and go with Flame Tree anyway. I just have $200 in Landry's giftcards, thus the reason I was contemplating doing both RFC and T-Rex, even though the food is essentially the same. I could use the giftcards towards Build a Dinos so they wouldn't go to waste I'm sure. Is Flame Tree worth cancelling a sit down ADR for?

I did not know they released the list for this year yet, I have not kept up with the F&W Thread, last time I checked the list that was out was showing the same kiosk items as last year with the new booth for this year added according to Nala.

I had everything all printed out last year then we had to cancel our trip, I am almost skeered :scared1: to do it again, might jinx something this year :rotfl:

The items on your list are all something I might try nothing too funky

OMG!:rotfl:

My mouth is watering and I am so ready to try all of this! We are going to be absolutely stuffed as we make our way around the Showcase. I'm printing off my map, too.:cool1:

Tricia- Braai generally means BBQ as we know it here. Can't swear that's what they mean though.

I don't drink, but those Coconut Mojitos sound delicious! :goodvibes I'd like to try the BBQ chicken from China, cheese fondue, ravioli from Italy and lettuce wraps from South Korea. Not sure if I'll have the opportunity to try any of it though. We've already got so much book/planned as far as meals. Hopefully I can squeeze at least a few tastings in. :goodvibes

I have only been to AK once before, but we ended up at Flame Tree by accident and loved it. We are definitely eating there again this trip.;)

I doubt I would do both T-Rex and RFC if paying OOP, although since you do have the $200 in gc I might be tempted to. The food might be similar but the themeing is very different, and I am sure you can find different items to order at each meal.
The idea of doing RFC for breakfast might be a good option too. Flame tree for lunch sounds good from all the reviews I have read, never ate there myself only thing I am not a fan of CS meals, but that is just me since I tend to get frustrated waiting in line to purchase my food and then most times having to search for a place to sit down once I get the food.

I think it just came out yesterday!

Oh no! I'd be scared to jinx it, too! :scared1:

Exactly, nothing toooo funky and lots of frozen beverages :drinking1
I went back on my master food and wine list and added in school bread from Norway, an original margarita w/pomegranite floater from Mexico, Kaki Gori from Japan and Peach Oolong Schnapps tea from China to the list.

I haven't posted much lately as I have been sick. Even the doctor said, "Who gets bronchitis in the summertime?" ME!! :rotfl:

Anyways... we are at 79 days and counting!

Best news of the week is that I got all of the things I need to make my Toy Story 3 Barbie costume for MNSSHP. Well, everything but the wig, but once the Halloween stores open up around here I should have no problem with that. I'm superclose to talking DH into being Ken for the evening, too. Hopefully he'll take one for the team and cave. :rotfl:

The kids and I pulled a 7 hour marathon shopping day for costume stuff and back to school stuff yesterday. Now I have to label all of their school supplies and sew my legwarmers. I want them to be identical to Barbie's so I'm making those myself. :)

School starts 3 weeks from today!!! My baby boy will be in 1st grade this year, so I'll have the whole house to myself all day. Not sure what I'll do with myself, but I guess I'll have no excuse not to have the cleanest house on the street. :lmao: DD will be in 3rd grade and I can't believe how fast time flies!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer. The heat has been ridiculous here, and I am ready for football season and cooler temps. Even DD said the other day, "It should only be this hot if your at Disney World." I totally agreed!:rotfl:
