89 days until our vacation. 1 week at POFQ. 1st Disney vacation for DD and DS. DW and I visited in 2000, but we stayed off site. Can't wait!!!!

I forgot yesterday! I made it into the 80s! Happy 88 days to me!

 :cool1: :dance3:Dance Party! :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2:
Of course the dance party isn't complete without creepy dance guy... :dancer:

How many days does everyone have left??

85 Days for me.....it seems to be going by so fast now that I am in double digits

82 days left - it's going too fast, I'm still searching for that O'hana ADR :lmao:

I am new to Disboards....do people get together while we are there or what.

That all depends. If people know they'll be there at the same time and feel they've made a connection (or have a few minutes to spare in their busy itinerary then they will make plans to have a DISmeet. But not everybody does. I've only done it once and don't have a picture to prove it. :sad2: :rotfl:

Tomorrow i have to make my list of to do's and write it down instead of keeping it in my head.

If I tried to keep my list in my head I wouldn't remember one bit of it 5 seconds later. The movie character I relate to most isn't Disney. It's 10 Second Tom from 50 First Dates.

So I know that I've mentioned the fact that my week fell during a blackout period when there were room discounts out way back when I made our reservations. Then the regular Savannah view at AKL wasn't available and we had to pay extra for the Arusha view. I was curious about pricing (getting worried about our final payment) and messing around on the Disney World website. There isn't a single room available at AKL the week that we are there. There seem to be plenty at other resorts but AKL is full! :scared1: We love it there but I've been pricing around and thinking maybe we should save $1000 and stay someplace else. Now that I know they are full I'm concerned about how crowded the buses will be. If the reason is due to some kind of convention that my TA mentioned then maybe I won't worry too much because I imagine most of those people won't be hitting rope drop or anything like us but still....

I don't know how but I just got lucky enough to find a 6:40 ressie for one of our nights!:cool1:

Good for you :goodvibes
I've got one, too, but our schedule would work out much better if I could move it a day so I'll keep trying :surfweb:

POFQ seems to still have rooms and they have the nice new queen beds - I haven't stayed here before, but we are so looking forward to it. I have read wonderful things about this resort. It is the smallest of the mods and has a boat to DTD. :cheer2:

You would think I have stayed a million times the way I am talking (er . . typing):rolleyes1

Sending you both :wizard: that you get the ADRs you want

You must be going around the same time as we are, I have checked since we changed our ressie from BC to WL and there is not much available at the Deluxe Resorts, for some reason WL has lots of rooms/catagories :confused3
I hear you about that big last payment and saving $ when we switched it saved us $468.

POFQ is a lovely resort and now with the refurb and queen beds might be on our return list sometime. We have stayed there twice before. You will love it.

For all of you O'hana veterans - I have an 8:20 ressie for Sun the 16th. I have read that you can see the fireworks from some tables - do you think we will be able to see Hallowishes if we can get one near the window? I'm pretty sure the 16th is a MNSSHP night.:upsidedow

89 Days!!! :cheer2::dance3::cheer2:

I  the 80s!!

Now I have a paper to write for class. Anyone feel like writing an essay on transformation theory in adult education? Cause I sure don't! :sad2:

I'd totally help you if I had any idea what that was...:rotfl:

:rotfl2: Thanks for the offer!! It's almost done. And if you read one sentence about it, you'd totally understand. I'm finding people in graduate programs just like to SOUND smart. ;)

Eighty-eight
Eighty-eight
Eighty, Eighty, Eighty, Eighty, Eighty-Eight!

:cool1:

My h.s. graduation year, so I'm particularly fond of that number!! :thumbsup2
(Not so fond of the fact that I just dated myself, though )

I'm causing trouble at 87 days to go... I'm rechecking hours, parks, park recommendations, ADRs... Sigh.

I can't find a spot to put Earl of Sandwich and I really wanted to try it.
