This will be our first October trip, so I dont know what to expect for crowds or weather... I am very nervous about that!
We are staying at a 2BR Villa at BLT

Hooray! We’re booked at the Treehouse Villas for a week in October. I feel so much better now that the reservations are done and I’ve got the resort I wanted. Of course now comes the hard part of saving money for passes, food, etc. Guess I’ve got plenty of time.

We stayed at Ft. Wilderness Campground took the Bus trasporation and the Boat Transportation - all over to the reosrts and some parks - Disney Village- it was very pleasant!

I haven't been in october since 2000 and i dont really remember much about it. More recently we went in November and in September... refresh my memory of October crowds and weather. We'll be arriving 9/30 getting married at SBP on 10/2 and staying for the disneymoon until 10/8. is that normally a "light" crowd time of year like september and early november?

It was more crowded than I had expected it to be this year, but dont let it bum you out. And was super packed around Columbus day. With that said, there is still a great opportunity to not wait in lines and still have a great time. Planning and using your time wisely always works. Avoiding EMH parks is always a good idea unless you are actually going to EMH.

The ABSOLUTE MOST important thing for us was to be at rope drop and do as much as we possibly could by lunchtime as this was when things generally got busy, during that morning time we could generally walk on just about anything we wanted (except TSM, this was never an option...lol) and from then on use fastpass and enjoy the rest of your day walking around and looking at things as well as doing some of the less popular rides/attractions. Also while doing that there are times with the ebb and flow of lines that you will walk up to one of your faves and the line will be short for whatever reason and you can take advantage of it.

The real key- Be a SUPERSTICKLER for making it to rope drop, and then be flexible from lunch to close.

We're booked at POR. I was shocked to see that CSR was booked full. Sounds like the Make-a-Wish Fdn will be there. This our 3rd trip, DD3 first and first at a Mod. Have PIN for that is good thru June but nothing for later in the year. Hoping it gets extended or free dining. ADRs are laid out and now I have to wait until April 19 to book. Really want LeCellier!

I booked it!!!!! We have been toying with the idea of returning in October 2010 ever since we got back from our 9 day trip to POFQ in June. We have always wanted to do MNNSHP. I also received an email last week with the fantastic, coveted 20/30/40% off Pin code good for most of next year, so I can finally make my 20+ year dream come true with a stay at the Polynesian! It will be myself (34), DH (31), and DD(8). We will have the Deluxe dining plan as well so we can enjoy a couple of Signature/Dinner Show/in room dining experiences as well as the free refillable mugs. I cannot wait! Just need to see what day my ADR booking window is open. Anyone else coming at that time let me know, maybe we can plan DIS meet for lunch at one of the parks, or if you are staying at Poly we can watch the fireworks from the beach!!!!!!

I just got back last week and had a super fantastic time! My mom and I are planning a trip to take a friend of ours who has never been and her DH won't take her (since he's been before ). The thing is, she finally told her DH but now she is saying she might not have the money! But it's ok, my mom and I are still talking about going... even if our friend can't!
We might stay at the Poly... after our last trip, I totally decided that I am only a deluxe resort kind of girl... unless another mod. besides POR changes my mind. There was nothing wrong with our resort, but I've only ever stayed deluxe until this past trip. I guess I'm just spoiled?

That's officially Oct. 2010, right!? Staying in a 1BR at VWL through Nov. 7th. Exchanged through RCI for only a $164 exchange fee. A week in a 1BR for $164? That's pretty sweet!

wow, I'm from Indiana and we are going the same time in a GV room at the Poly as well! Have you ever stayed there before? This is my first time there and I am VERY excited!!!!
