Official October 2010 Thread!!- INCLUDE YOUR DATE/RESORT IN YOUR HEADER!!

1 year and 4 days to go:woohoo:.i always think that once you get to less than a year, the time goes so much quicker. even though this is not our first trip in october, we have never had young kids with us during that time so have never done MNSSHP. we have a 4 year old with us the next time we go so will be doing it but....and here comes the question....has any one taken teenages before and did they like it.we are wondering if we should let them come with us or perhaps let them do another park that night. they are all disney mad but do you think MNSSHP may be a bit too young for them?

I am so happy about this thread starting.:banana::banana: My husband and I just decided to go back to WDW in October 2010. I tried to talk him to going this year, but we just went in July. We went to MNSSHP in September 2008 and had a great time. The crowds were low with almost no waits. The weather was still warm, but NOTHING like July. I am not sure where we will be staying or our exact dates. I will update as I obsessively plan. I do need to decide on a date soon so that I can start a ticker countdown. Are the MNSSHP dates pretty consistant each year? I guess that I will plan based on this year's dates.

Can't wait to surprise the boys with this long weekend trip. We've never done this before. Going to MNSSHP on Oct 12 (our 22nd anniversary!!)

So glad I'm not the only one obsessing already! DH and I are going to be going with friends - and leaving the kids at home!! :cool1: The hard part will be keeping the secret that we're going to Disney without them. We've only ever stayed at the All-Stars (kids love the Movies), but are leaning towards Pop this trip. We haven't nailed down exact dates yet, but are definitely going in October.

:goodvibes Just a quick post to bump this thread back to the front...

I'm almost in the "One-year and Counting" club now, and I've definately got the planning bug. I sat on the Disney website last night and looked at attractions that are new or are updated since my last trip. I'm also keeping a close eye on reviews/comments about F&W since next year will be my first experience attending.

WOOHOO!! Down to alittle less than a year!!! I'm getting very ansty!

We'll be at Disney 1 year from today....my 36th b-day! We usually go every May for our anniversary, but I am due in January with our Disney souvenir from our May 09 trip so we've decided to go in Oct 2010!! We're hoping for great weather and low crowds!

Oh come now, traveling with a 5-month old isn't THAT much trouble ;)

I was so excited to introduce my first child to Disney that we brought him at 3-weeks to DL. We became the family I always used to make fun of.

Trust me, I thought about it!! It's going to be hard to wait until October to go!! We took DD1 at 10 months and that was a great age! This one will be 8 1/2 months!:thumbsup2

I dont know when you are due, but if you have the souvie on January 30th, I will be a very happy extra fairy godmother!:goodvibes

I'm actually due 1/31, so it is highly possible that you can be a happy fairy godmother!!princess:

I can't wait to book! Only 19 more days until its official!

which lobby do you think would be the best for pictures with DF and I before we leave for the wedding? Kidani's or Jambo's?

Hopefully going in Oct. and staying at AKL. Went in July 09 very hot and long lines. Great threat looking forward to the planning.

We just switched from POP to Wilderness Lodge. Depending no what AP codes come out we may even switch to the Poly. :cool1::banana::banana:

Can't wait. We decided to go a month ago when we found out the kids have the 21st and 22nd off and the 21st is my B-day. This is our favorite time to go.

I am a bit nervous because we have a 6 month old baby but she is a good traveler.

Me, DH, 2 boys 7 and 9yo and our little princess 6 months old.
