My dh is a police officer and his department gives out plastic badges to the kids. If you want one, I can mail it to you. PM me your name and address. My ds (6) is going to be a police officer also. He will be a bike cop so he can wear shorts.

Oh, that is so sweet! Thank you so much for offering! I actually went to Dollar Tree and bought two police accessory kits. They both have badges in them, but I may have to glue a pin backing onto them, as one for sure is a clip-on badge. He will be wearing a polo shirt, so that will not work.

LOVE salt and vinegar chips! I have even corrupted my 2 and 4 year old! I need to get my act together and get my stuff ordered!

Oh...... there is this place called Fat Tuesday's....have you ever heard of it? They have one in Las Vegas in the Forum shops. Anyway, they have the BEST salt and vinegar chips! And then they have these yummy frozen mixed drinks. And they just go PERFECT with those salty chips!

So.....if you and your husband EVER make to Vegas......you HAVE to try those chips!

No I have never heard of it. We both want to go to Vegas I am hoping we can make it in the future!! There is a pub in Louisville that I love to go to and they have excellent fish and chips and I load the vinegar on them..the food there is wonderful as is the beer!

Darn! I just got back from Las Vegas and stayed at Caesar's Palace!! I totally missed Fat Tuedays! I LOVE salt and vinegar chips! I'll be back in December and will have to check it out. Yum!

We are going Oct 27- Nov 4.
There are 5 adults,2 kids and an infant in our group. It's been 20 years for 4 of the adults and it's the first trip for the rest of the group. We are staying at ssr. Our mnsshp date is the 29th and we will trick or treat at dtd on Halloween

Hey Oct DISers, I really need to catch up on this thread ..... seems a lot has been going on since I last checked in.

18 days to go for us! I have no clue why but I'm starting to get a little overwhelmed now that we are getting closer to time. I think it's because I really haven't had much time lately to sit and "plan" like I had been doing before - we went out of town for labor day, plus kids starting back to school (we home school and have had a lot going on with extra curricular activities & field trips). I'm starting to question the timing on some of my ADR's ...... wondering if I am planning to much or to little. Just thinking about all the last minutes things that I need to do, ugh!

On the bright side, time seems to be going by fast ..... we will be there before you know it.

No.....this is our first time too!! I'm really looking forward to it. I just went to Wal-Mart this afternoon and picked up a few things for a halloween costume for me. I'm not really dressing up.....just painting my face and putting a witch hat on!! But, my daughter is dressing as SilverMist.....she's very excited about her costume!! It should be a good time!!

Hey, I also just noticed you are staying at POFQ........us too!! I plan on decorating my window there for Halloween and I also plan on putting my Disboard name somewhere. If you see our room.....leave a note to say hello. Let us know how your vacation is going!!
