OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

Me, too and I am stressing about the Bon Voyage breakfast! I have 2 of our days on hold waiting to see if we can book it. Going crazy! I'm worried about free dining folks scooping all the ADRS.
I hadn't heard about that one yet... it looks pretty great. It seems like every time I turn around there's something new! Which is amazing, of course, but also kinda adds the stress about what to choose.
I feel like the only dining I'm 100% sure about is that I want to eat at BoG at some point and want to do the Candlelight Processional at Chefs de France (but of course, there's not a whole lot of info about that right now!)

17 days till I book book ADR's

Which places are you choosing?
Places with very easy ADR's to get :D. We love Sci-Fi for their milkshakes so definitely there. Coral Reef is always a must do because of the aquarium and amazing desserts. We've done CRT and BOG a few times and did Minnie's Dine at H&V last year so I am going to survive without those this time around. But thinking of trying one of the resort restaurants for once since we get in Black Friday and would rather resort hop instead of tackling a park so I'm looking for ideas if anyone has any!

Not sure where you're staying, but we really love Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk. My favorite is California Grill at the Contemporary or the Yachtsman if you're up for a signature. And my husband loves seafood so he loves Cape May Cafe dinner.

With only having QSDP, ADR day is going to be MUCH easier this time around. We only have 2-3 places we want to eat that we will pay out of pocket for so for once, ADR day will be calm!

Don't jinx yourself!

I'm sitting down and going through park days and possible ADRs. Talked to dh yesterday for his input.

We do ADR's later this week. I am looking at Tiffins, Chefs de France, Trattoria al Forno (for both dinner and then the Bon Voyage breakfast) and maybe Be Our Guest. Oh, and the Cali Grill brunch. I think that's it!

I'm trying to figure out park days as well. What places are you thinking of eating at? I'm excited to not be as tied down with ADR's this year, but with FP+ I'm hoping if we want to switch parks, we won't have too much issue rebooking our FPs.

We are staying at CSR but a stroll along the Boardwalk is on our list of things to do and I love Italian food so will definitely consider that one!!! We tend to always eat at the same exact places and I'm trying to get us to go at least one new place a trip so we can branch out a bit...thanks for the input!

Man this park day stuff is hard. Last year I had a travel agent that figured it out for me. My dh is throwing me off because he insists on doing one full MK day that isn't MVMCP instead of hopping back over to MK. From a planning standpoint it's killing me because I'm looking at the crowd calendar with it marked in red and all these other parks that marked green. I want to pick the green one but I can't. lol We're doing 3 MK days so it really isn't a big deal but I'm kinda stuck right now because then I need to go to the other parks when they aren't always green. I know I sound like a crazy person. And crowd calendars are just predictions but I can't help myself.

Anyway so far my list is:
-BOG breakfast
- 1900 breakfast
- Tusker House breakfast
- Garden Grill breakfast
- Via Napoli dinner (just getting a pizza)
- Whispering Canyon dinner
- Sci-Fi lunch
- Prime Time dinner or lunch
- Bon Voyage breakfast
- San Angel Inn dinner
-Cape May breakfast (depending on our departure time)
- Then I'm stuck on a MK that we are leaving early and go to the Boardwalk. Part of me really wants to do Ohana but the other part is thinking about something closer or on the Boardwalk. Possible options are Cape May, Beaches & Cream, and now Trattoria.

I'm staying at the Boardwalk and we are definitely going to do the Bon Voyage. But we're thinking about doing another meal at the Boardwalk or another Epcot resort. Which do you think is more kid friendly for dinner Cape May or Trattoria? Kids are dd5 & ds7. Thanks!

191 days is too far away... especially on a rainy Monday that is DRAGGING along. At least our ADR day is coming up soon! We're only making a few because we'll spend a lot of time at F&W, but I'm excited to book something! Now it's just a question of where... there are so many new places to try since our last trip in 2015. One place we know we definitely want to go doesn't need a reservation - the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. We can't wait to try the margarita and martini flights!

My husband is obsessed with Cape May Cafe and they have a little kids section of the buffet with pizza, mac n cheese and the like. My kids like it and my middle is exceptionally picky. My kids really like popcorn shrimp and I wish they had that regularly. The seafood is different then many of your other dining choices. That said, Trattoria is a favorite of mine. And they have pizza, pasta and I think steak on the kids menu. The buffet at Cape May is more relaxed whereas Trattoria has a more formal sit down feel. Honestly though, the service at Trattoria is also amazing. I can't hesitate to recommend it enough!

Haha it IS tough!! I have never followed crowd calendars--in fact when I look at them I see that I always pick the red day (typically because of EMH). I've never thought it was more crowded than a day that was green (with the exception of the evening of a nighttime EMH). But I think a lot of that is the time of year we go--it isn't as crazy so don't necessarily have to follow the calendars. We're doing a shorter trip this year so might follow them this year to try to maximize ride time and see if it makes a difference! And I am with your DH on a full MK day--absolute necessity!

I envy your ADR list....soooo many goodies. Reminds me that I looooved Beaches & Cream when we did it so maybe I will add that one on!

How about Beaches & Cream? Doesn't get much more kid friendly than that!

Now I want to add Hollywood Brown Derby to my list.

Thanks for the info. They both sound great but I think the relaxed fit might be better for us.

How about Beaches & Cream? Doesn't get much more kid friendly than that!

Yes. It's definitely on the list. I had a reservation for it on our last trip but I had to cancel it.

The more I think about it, I sadly feel like I need to let go of O'hana for this trip. Cape May or Beaches & Cream would be a much better fit.

Shhh! Don't let him know that you agree. I'll never hear the end of it.
