***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

Well add DS to the sick. We leave in under 12hrs and he has been coughing and sneezing. :sad2:

Let's see how much it changes between now and then! But I hope the WHOLE month of NOVEMBER is AWESOME for everyone :) We deserve it, don't you think?

Absosmurfly we do.

Well add DS to the sick. We leave in under 12hrs and he has been coughing and sneezing. :sad2:

Tell him there is no time for that. Hope some Mickey adrenaline perks him back up. Although I'm not one for meds for the kids, see if you can get a decongestant for him if you are flying or the pressure change could really hurt.

Success!!! I see a dent in getting organized and purging those clothes that even if I lose some weight I won't wear them. So hard to remember I'm not 20 anymore and at 51 that outfit isn't going to work for me.

And in my cleaning things up, I found an envelope with $50 in it.
:banana::banana:

Take out tonight!!!
:dance3::yay::woohoo::banana:

Was happy to see that you all found Accuweather giving us warmer temps. Now if those rain days will go away!!!!

the one problem I ran into was that I kept finding things in the closet and saying "Oh maybe I should pack this" and now I will need a bigger suitcase.

Well I'm happy to make the progress.
I am going to get back into my sons room tonight. He is coming home from college tomorrow and when he was home last week he was feeling a little crowded as his room just kept being the dumping ground for things that didn't get put away properly.
I need to work on that. I want him to feel like he wants to come home and still has his own space. :scared1:

Thank goodness I have 14 days to work on getting things organized so I can come home to a "wow" this is my house. Instead of "ugh maid service didn't show up". ;)

Wishing you all the same.

I keep telling myself I need to go through my clothes too. I was planning on doing that as I packed but we'll see how much time I have. But it really needs to be done. I actually DO have some clothes from when I was 20, and I am 42 and have 3 kids! Clearly I will not be fitting into those size 2's and 4's anymore!

At 41 I still refuse to give up my club clothes from my skinny days. If only I had realized how cute I was back then, you never appreciate it when you have it. I'm saving them to show my grandchildren to give them a good laugh.

WooHoo on the $50 bucks!

I finally put a couple of things in the suitcase today. Yay me.

So true.
This makes me laugh. I think I've got enough pictures hidden in my hope chest to warrant a few laughs. I've long since tossed the clubbing clothes.
I'm the same size roughly. Just in different shape. No one ever told me THAT could happen. My feet changed too. I purged 10 pairs of beautiful shoes after begrudgingly accepting this reality :(

Speaking of shoes, what will everyone be wearing on their feet to the parks?

Series...well we had a money issue this week so the money we were going to put into new shoes is out the window. Nw I am joking to buy new insoles and hope that gets us through. So upset, as of now the shoes I have cause pain. A buying shoes for my daughter though. Anyone buy from a stride rite outlet? Both kids ave wide feet SO hard to find shoes....outlet was always my go-to but the last few pairs have fallen apart in weeks....I was wondering if this was my bad luck or is their quality going?

mostly sneakers. Around the resort or maybe DTD I might wear sandals that have support but it will depend if we do get the 80 degree weather.
Definitely sneakers for lots of walking.

good night everyone. Long day getting things cleaned up. Now to try to decide what to pack. I thought I had it figured out but now changing my mind.

Mostly sneakers here too. And maybe pink Mickey crocs. I know, I know, super uncool now but they really are comfy.

I have my pink Mickey crocs on right now. Yes super comfy!!!
My issue is more that they take up space in my suitcase more than flip flops. LOL

Do we still have to take our shoes off for airport screening? I wear sneakers at the parks but prefer slip ons for the airport if that's the case. If not, I'll wear them because of the packing/space issue!

I'm not even remotely the same size now in clothes, forget about my feet. I was a 7.5 when I got married and each kid added a half size. No one as short as me should have size 9 feet. It's so depressing.

I'll be wearing sneakers for the most part. I'll have my Teva flip flops with me for around the pool.

Unless you are under 12 or over 75 (or is is 72?) you have to take off you shoes.

Woo hoo! 1 more day! Still trying to keep up reading this thread but I think this may be my last post for a while. Heading to band competition in a bit then tomorrow morning we leave for WDW!!! (after getting that extra hour of sleep tonight;))

For shoes I'm bringing three different pairs of cute sneakers- I have to match, right? I have such tough feet from being on them all the time and probably from dancing as a kid that I really don't get blisters or have problems- lucky, I know. DH and the boys are wearing sneakers, bringning two pairs in case we have rain and they need to change, and older DS will probably wear Sperrys a couple days.

Happy planning everyone and I'll report on our trip when I can about fp+, mb's etc.

I guess I'm fortunate I'm 51 with 2 daughters, and went from size 1 to size 3. Not much change. Guess it helps that I've been working out for 22 years. But still won't wear my old clothes they are outta style. Enjoy your trip this night next week ill be sippin a coconut drink at Ohana

Thanks! I figured it hadn't changed since last year. I keep thinking I am going to have tons of space to pack everything since we'll have one more suitcase than last year but I know once I start packing, it will get tight fast.

And while I'm talking about airports, how does everyone feel about being able to use tablets the whole time on the plane? We are flying Delta and it sounds like they got their FAA approval to allow this. We just bought a 2nd ipad so will have one for each kid, but not sure I'll get them out right away. Was hoping they would both take a nap on the plane and it they are too entertained, that might not happen ;)
