***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

Just transferred my paper itinerary to the MDE site. Disney finally is doing what we have always done. it's more convienient to have it all on my phone

Ok this cleaning things is out of control. I've now taken down my bedroom curtains and have them washing in the machine and cleaned the windows. Yikes! This is so not me. But I guess I am serious about having a clean house when I get home. AND sick of the mess that has been here since we had to empty the attic back in May for some sealant work.

Now to get the whip out and get some bins back in the attic. LOL

Feels good.

13 days and a sleep.

LOL, sounds like we're having similar days. I'm prepping for homemade snacks (making applesauce for fruit leather) and in between stirs I'm rearranging the bookshelves to make more room, dusting, getting things organized that have just been in piles since we moved in a year ago. We have the birthday party in exactly a week, which will keep me busy cleaning and making pinatas and other games, then just cleanup from that and packing! I know the days are going to fly by, they'll be so jam-packed. Going to sleep last night was not easy!

Oh, hey, Mickey's Three Musketeers is streaming on Netflix! I'm going to try to get my kids to watch!

Ha I actually just zipped a hem on a curtain I bought over a year ago and had hanging in my room. Pulled them down, washed them, washed the windows and now put up the first part that didn't need ironing. Will later iron and put the other piece up.
Right DH ran to fill my ice cream treat need (rather have mickey head on a stick but Red Sox ice cream will have to do) and then he is going to help me hang a couple of strips of boarder that I've put off for oh I don't know how long!!! Then I'll return to the upstairs and maybe clean/organize/purge under the bathroom sink so I can wash down the counter tops and not have it looked so cluttered. If I didn't know better I would swear I'm nesting. :rotfl2:
But thank Goodness I'm not.

DS19(almost 20) home for a concert tonight with his cousin and a group of friends. I told him I'm determined to be cleaned and organized so that when he is home for Christmas he and I can repaint his room and it's totally his choice of color. I had a feeling he would go with a yellow tone. LOL Yellow is for some reason and has always been his favorite color. I suggested a mustard gold towards the yellow tone. I guess we'll see what we find when we go start looking. But more purging/organizing and cleaning to do before we can do that.

The next two weeks will go by fast. I started a rack to put clothes I will consider for vacation. I know I have too many outfits on the rack. I have to make a decision, get them in the suitcase and then zip it closed. LOL
I found clothes today I forgot I even had. hmmmm That says a lot.

Just wanted to remind everyone tonight is "Fall Back!".

Lucky Disney peeps that are down there now. You get an extra hour of Disney time!!!

GO GO GO. Your on a roll!

Me , I just went through a total lifestyle change. The most I weighed was 200 at the end of grad school, but I never go to far below 185,

After I turned 40, I realized I had to change my diet and exercise more. Since then I have managed to get into the shape I was at 21, maybe better!!!

Now a lean 165, at 6 foot...

I signed up and within 24 hours I had 2 free coupons to print out for a sandwich and a brownie. The coupon has a 30 day expiration

I've just signed up & now I get to wait. Kind of nice to have something new to wait for before the trip. Everything is booked & we leave on the 17th. So can't wait. Enjoy your brownie & sandwich. :)

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

for any november goers with bdays if you sign up for earl of sandwich club they email you a coupon for a free brownie and a free sandwich at earl of sandwich at Down town

I saw this and did this, when I told dh, he says "But we already have free dining." Silly dh, he doesn't know we never turn down free food.:rotfl2:

Is the free sandwich just on your actual birthday?

I'm not even remotely the same size now in clothes, forget about my feet. I was a 7.5 when I got married and each kid added a half size. No one as short as me should have size 9 feet. It's so depressing.

I'll be wearing sneakers for the most part. I'll have my Teva flip flops with me for around the pool.

Unless you are under 12 or over 75 (or is is 72?) you have to take off you shoes.

My feet grew a half size each kid too and I am also now a size 9. I LOVE my Teva flip flops, I may even wear them in the parks on shorter days! They are the most comfy flip flops I've ever owned!

Boarder hung in the entry way!!!
Feet screaming, but you didn't wear your sneakers today and my feet and legs aren't ready for Disney!!!!

oh boy!
I"m pooped.
But curtains to iron while I watch tv. Can't stop now or I'll be sleeping and I don't want to be up too early in the AM as the 1 hour extra would be sooooo worth it.

As far as the wait.....Wow good for you. But ya I'm not there right now.
And Free Dining will pose a challenge. But I have scoped out the better choices of menu options. Between that and the walking I potentially could come back having lost weight but I'm not too worried right now. At least I didn't gain so my clothes will fit.
I know what I need to do.

ok if I stay still too long I'm doommed.

Sounds like you had a wonderfully productive day! I almost feel guilty for going to my free spa day and not getting anything done...almost. : )
My ASD boy's favorite color is yellow too. He chose yellow and grey for his magic bands.
I can't wait to go through my clothes to see what I find. I'm going to try to do that Wednesday.

Guilt not allowed! Spa days are meant to be guilt free. AKA "get out of housework free cards". I hope it was everything you hoped and more.
I'm way over due for massage and pedicure. I'm hoping to get a pedi at least before Disney. Seriously starting to consider the spa at coronado. I have a free afternoon/night one of the days. ......hmmmmm

Has anyone done the drawing lesson with the imagineer? Do you have to sign up early for it or just go? I think I'd like to do that.

this is half off topic so ill post just once.. actually i started when i was 29 with 2 young daughters because i was heavy, i got myself dumbells, a treadmill, and tony little video. I had to get up at 4 am to exercise before work and then got the kids off to school it wasnt easy.. BUT once i saw the weight start pouring off it was all the motivation i needed.from a size 13 to a 1 in about 6 months total.. I ended up doing many fitness commercials with tony little as a before and after. I am on his web page jodi from new york as a before and after. But i never gave up.he put me on the rikki lake show with him flew me to to laguna beach cali had me film with supermodels and ron duguay, lol it was fun since im just a regular person... Its weight lifting 3 days a week at home with 5 and 10 pound dumbells 3 pounds when i started, and treadmill 3 times a week. I never used a gym. the right workout video not some crazy stuff they sell that kills you. something simple tony little total body workout videos teach you the right technique and they tone you everywhere, so nice, not bulk but very toned for less then an hour each time..Tony teaches you well on those videos.. try that it worked well for me.. at 51 i feel amazing and still maintaining..its dedication and the right workout...if you need any more info or want to pick my brain you can message me any time.. have a nice vacation.. i did my room requests yesterday and today i will pack.. first time in a ecv ever so it will be a challenge but i have no choice i had knee surgery. After this trip back on my feet and back to exercise.. we have such a wonderful trip planned i didnt want to cancel... free dining POFQ woohoo so excited.. got a fast pass for a parade finally to yayayaya :wizard:

Thanks for sharing and for the video recommendation. I'll check it out right after my trip!!! Cool story!!!

No, the coupon says "free sandwich in honor of your birthday" and then has a expiration date on the bottom of the coupon.

Signed me and DH up since we both have November birthdays! Waiting for the emails with a watering mouth. Anyone know what time they start serving lunch?
