***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

I am also not getting a FP+ for Everest. My sister recently went and said the walked right on through the single rider line and took turns while their kids played at The Boneyard.

Good to know. If I can easily get on, I can switch things up if need be. But since the day I have Everest scheduled is a day when we're NOT hopping (plan to be at AK until the parade), I don't know what I'd switch it to.

If I'm understanding the FP+ for parades having "reserved" viewing areas, I may change up a day completely. I'm glad we got FP+ for Fantasmic on our first night.

We are having dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in November. This will be our first time dining here and I have heard that it is all you can eat. Does anyone know if this is true (for dinner)? I can only find info about the breakfast being all you can eat.

Ate there a few years ago; not all you can eat. Prime rib was excellent though!:thumbsup2

I have never been to Animal Kingdom. We plan on going this trip, but not spend the entire day there. What are some things we should make sure we do? If we get there when it opens, is until about 2pm good?

The lion king show is awesome

Our favorites are Expedition Everest, Yak and Yeti restaurant, Dawa bar, the walk around the tree, It's Tough to be a Bug, and the Safari ride. You may also like the petting zoo.

Thanks DD is 10, and I am a germaphobe..we will skip the petting zoo :rotfl2:

It's Tough to be a Bug, what is that? Off to Allears to look up stuff! Should I get Fastpass for anything? I haven't bought tickets yet, and may not until we get there so FP+ is not an option.

I got this off of AllEars about It's Tough To be a Bug

Without going into detail, a variety of bugs, spiders and other insects will entertain you...scare you...and get your attention!

What does this mean? My DD is VERY afraid of spiders and bugs, if its a film she is ok, if they "are near her" she will FREAK....Should we skip this? :confused3

Hello all :)

We will be at WDW this November too!

Are people getting FP+ options for parades?

What about POC in MK?

I happened to be online when our Magic Bands and FP+ became available and those things were never an option :(

Mmm, perhaps. There are no real bugs, it's mostly a film, but it is a "4D" experience.

I would skip it. Huge fake spiders drop down from above, you get "stung", and feel bugs under your bottom during the show.

It is a 3D film with special effects. Although there are no real bugs, if she is really sensitive she may have issues. My kids and and thought it was great. I don't want to give too much away, but they do things to you to make you think bugs are going by and that you are being sprayed by other bugs.

Although my kids love bugs, we are actually skipping this one due to sensory issues. If this is the same as when I went more than 10 years ago, I would not take your DD either if she does not like bugs. I went with my niece when she was 9 and we were on the edge if our seat the while time worried about what was going to happen. It is a film, but more than that. They make it feel like bugs are scurrying under your feet and other things to make the bugs seem like they are real. The worst was at the end when you are "stung" on your lower back by a bee.
I has changed, someone please correct me....

We always like the train ride out to conservations station too. No bugs out there, and you don't get to touch the animals they bring out for informative talks with the kids.

That's what it was like 3 years ago and we LOVED it!

I am skipping using FP+ for the Safari in AK also, although this is a top attraction for us. I am planning/hoping we will get their early and head straight back there. Since we are at AK 2 days, I figured if it does not work out the first, ill try again the next.
I know I am in the minority doing AK 2 days and HS just one, but I just love AK. It just feels so much more laid back and relaxed. It doesn't hurt that we are a family of animal lovers either. : )

My DD loves AK walking though Asia and Africa and her three favorite rides EE, Dinosaur and the Safari. We also love the shows Finding Nemo and the Lion King.

And this is likely why I have no kids! :rotfl2:

Adult vacation excitement here!!!!:cheer2:
Not that I regret taking my sons, but I'm so looking forward to a easy going vacation.

Now granted some adults would not want to vacation with me either as I have my own interests and some fear (roller coasters) and such that would limit their fun. But that's why it's ok to separate from your party (as an adult) and do what you like. Love reading about single person lines. Wahooo. Go for it.

It truly is a tricky thing to keep your senses from making you think you are in danger so I respect the decisions anyone makes to avoid certain rides/attractions.

funny that technically our honeymoon was an adult vacation, but really not.
Looking forward to this old lady trying Disney again! Still debating if I should bring my tiara.
(Anybody else love "Big Bang theory" and Amy getting her tiara from Sheldon?)

:rotfl2:

I did use Soarin as a FP, but for right after we eat at the Garden Grill (4:05 ADR) on our full Epcot day. If we want to go on it twice in one day, we can always go over right at RD too, but I hate following crowds. We are also going to Epcot on arrival day so I booked Soarin' so that we can go on it later in the day when we arrive. There aren't a lot of things at Epcot that you have to have a FP+ for unless you are going on one of the really busy weeks.

I love FP+ for Soarin and Toy Story because FP are always gone so early for both attractions :cool1:
