We're about as official as we can be, I just made the final payment yesterday. So all the ADR's are booked, I have the kids booked for the Pirate Adventure cruise, the kids teachers know, etc. Now I just have to make princess dresses for the girls, and buy the little things we need, like the pearl cage necklaces for the girls and so on. I'm so excited!! My youngest hasn't been to a Disney Park for almost a year and a half, and never to WDW, so it will be her first time and she's just the right age, too.

My sister and I are going from Nov. 25 - Dec. 4, 2011. We really can not wait! Staying at POFQ for the first time. Also going to two MVMCP's since we loved MNSSHP last year and we love Christmas even more so we figure it will be well worth it.

When should I contact the resort about our room request? We're not picky about where we stay at the YC, but we want to be in one of the centrally located loops at Ft Wilderness. I think it's the 2100 loop, so we can be as close as possible to the marina. I can't wait to stay at the cabin! I'm more excited about the cabin than the Yacht Club, lol!

Soooo excited!! After I told my good friend that we were going to WDW, I casually said to her "want to come along?". Then she surprised me a few weeks later by saying, "so do you want some company in WDW?" They finally booked and we were even able to get several ADR's together. Can't wait for November!

I still haven't told ds11 about the trip. Our trip will start after the kids get home from school. I haven't decided if I'll wait until ds gets home from school that day to tell him...lol.

I'm glad to hear that. We're going 11/26 to 12/3. We've never been in November before and I was wondering about the crowds. How's the weather?

You can make your request at any time and they will note it on your reservations. I know some people fax requests to the room assigner a few days before their trip, but i've always just called a couple weeks before.

I've also read that keeping your requests simple and specific to one thing (ex. room location) is better than making several

I've gone a couple of times during that time frame and the weather can be anything ! might be sunny and 80 or it might be pretty cold at night where you need gloves and jackets, so be prepared for anything and bring layers

I just booked my super short girls trip to the Swan for the F&WF!! My friend and I did the same trip last year and decided to make it a tradition. We will come leave around 8-9 Saturday morning, enjoy F&W Saturday afternoon, maybe MK Saturday night, quick trip to Jellyrools, then just a few hours at some not yet determined park Sunday morning, leave around noon and be home to the families around 3.

We're coming 11/5-6.

87 days!!! I have canceled SO many times. I am determined to get to go this time It will be my first solo trip staying at POP 11/27-12/1.

So happy to see you're making the trip! I was throwing around the idea of going over Thanksgiving but I don't think it will happen this year.
