Luke whines. I'm not going to make excuses for someone who has all their mental capacities. Zev has some mental issues and he handles things fairly well, and it didn't seem to me that he threw the cup.

Correct on both counts. Luke whines whenever something doesn't go his way and his mom coddles him.

Honestly I agree with what people are saying about Luke. Zev had a moment where he was fustrated. Many other racers have done the same.

Many other racers have cried and gotten fustrated at challengers but he is the first I have seen take it that far. As for his disability since tea doesn't make different sounds based on flavor the challenge was not any harder for him then it was for anyone else. Also this isn't the first challenge where he started crying about how hard it is... of course its hard but get through it or give up don't cry about it. I would have a problem with any team acting this way.

I think you may be right. I know on other shows (Project Runway, and Chopped) if a chef starts talking abut how comfortable they are with a challene, then I know that is the person who is going home.

Editing can be a funny thing. I don;t find Mallory nearly as annoying this time around. ACtually, I like her much more than before, and always wonder how much editing plays into that.

My thing with Luke is that he tries to do the challenge. If it doesn't come easy for him, he gives up and starts in full blown right away. He does more walking around after than than doing the challenge. I completley understand getting frustrated and crying. He just seems to do it so quickly. I thought the locals at that challenge were amazing though. They were so encouraging and really wanted him to succeed and celebrated with him when he did.

I love the cowboys and are still routing for them. I still wish the other teams had had to do that flag challenge. Many of them did not get the clue either on the first try, but had another team tell them the correct answer. I also think it is fun tv to air their mistakes and struggles on any mental challenge. (I'm from the south, so it is not a dig. The stereotype though is that people with thick accents are not very bright, and of course, I don't believe that.) Last week, I think it was, the cowboys were the only team to keep going back and checking the dino diagram knowing it sacraficed a little time. I thought that was a smart move.

Actually, I was thinking it would have been easier for him, because he is deaf. I think that when you don't have one of your senses, doesn't it make your other senses more pronounced? (I think I read that somewhere along my life, and it has stuck with me).

I don't think he knew to be looking for a specific taste. I think he was trying to remember what the tea in China tasted like.

Edited to add more here: If I hadn't seen the preview of him crying I would have agreed. I went to RIT for college that has the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and they seemed to notice alot more then many of the hearing students because they were used to compensating for their hearing. The facial expressions some mention don't bother me at all I realize that is a part of their culture, they communicate with body language and facial expressions are a big part of that. (Watch Marlee Matlin on Celebrity Apprentice she does the same thing, but she doesn't start crying that things are hard in 5 seconds).

Now if he was asked to do that detour with all the pianos they had one year I would agree. Cry and say its hard because that would probably be impossible for him.

As for the person above with saying the thick accents and being from the south stereotype. That wasn't what I meant and I really like the Cowboys for keeping their cool (like with the big puzzle in their season where one said that "whining won't get my puzzle done any faster" but I also realize that they tend to not think of things that come easy to the other teams (like how they didn't wonder why the guy was spinning in the star wars challenge and didn't try that sooner.) They seem to be much faster to figure out a strategy in something physical (like realizing that if he got the dino wrong he would have to take it ALL apart thus checking is a good idea) then in something that is almost solely mental.

I do too ... I think that I am just ignoring her constant calls for help from the Big Guy . Like Disney1fan2002 I really enjoy her enthusiasm and positive approach to the race.

I've never seen anything like that. That was disgraceful. I was hoping Karma would bite them. Hopefully next week.

Me too! I dislike Ron for being so rude and annoying I much rather see the pinks gone. He was so rude to the poor guy kicking him out of the taxi, and how he used poor Gary just like you said, aghghgh he acts more like a whining girl than Vyxsin, he was so tried and asked her to carry his bag, can't wait to see them gone.

Loved how the cowboys kept their cool and got back in the game, I was so scared when they took that late flight the GT was amazing, they helped the other teams in the challenges and they were team # 1, so happy for them.

Missed the show - why did she jump in the water? It was funny in the previews when Kent was screaming Vyxen are you insane?

Dang weather. It seems whenever there is severe weather or disruptions it's either on Wed (Survivor) or Sun (AR).

I the Globetrotters! They have to be two of the nicest players, ever. they are so kind to the other teams--no sense of "I have to beat these guys". They want everyone to do well. What gentlemen! Although we were cracking up about the bandaids on the one guy's head at check-in--probably from bumping on one too many car roofs.

I felt bad for Ron--he really seemed out of his element on that roadblock, and it didn't seem all that hard.

I thought Mallory was a hoot with her "manure clothes"--she was wearing the same outfit she did during the Russian poop challenge. At least she was a sport about it.

Glad the cowboys caught up easily--I was worried about them.

Kent and Vyxin can go any time.

They got into a water taxi and it was going so slow.... so she wanted OUT so she jumped and dragged the boat back to the dock while Kent had his on boat freak out.

I wanted Kent and Vixen gone after his behavior too, well, actually just Kent. Every time Kent and Vixen are identified as "dating couple," I wonder if that is actually true. I just don't get a boyfriend/girlfriend vibe from them.

I was so rooting for it to be Ron and Christina to come around the corner at the pit stop. DARN....

When Kent was yelling at Vyxen that he can't run because he has the bag, I thought he meant he had BOTH bags. When they showed Vyxsen turn around and she had her bag on her back, I was shaking my head. She ended up grabbing HIS bag....so the whiny baby could keep up. Yeah, what a man...this was not the first time Vyxen had to carry his bag with hers beause he couldn't do it himself.

Kent is a Jack-asterik. Vyxen needs to see the light and move on. Although, I agree with everyone else, there is no way that Kent has a 'girlfriend'. They may be very close friends, but there is no way they are in a relationship.

If they have a relationship, there is a huge role reversal going on. He is much more feminine than she is. In saying that, I don't believe she is very masculine.
