A thirty year old single woman decided to have sex.

Ummmmm, believe me... the fact that an adult woman has a physical relationship is just fine with me... and has absolutely NOTHING, nothing at all, to do with the opinions that I have of Kaitlyn, after seeing her behavior thru the course of the show.

Anybody who is trying to defend her by claiming that any negative thoughts or opinions are just because (gasp!!!) an adult woman had an intimate encounter... might be missing something here.

It is how she has behaved, carried herself, treated others, the decisions that she has made, the things that she has said, etc...

PS: if one wants to judge others by a few expressive descriptors and claim that this is just name-calling... they might want to look at some of Kaitlyns tweets... and pay attention to some of her comments, even aired on the show. I am quite sure that calling Britt a 'trophy wife', and judging the guy that left with Britt, is far from the only negative and inappropriate and uncalled for comments that she has made. Couldn't believe it when she even stooped to trying to call out guys, because, at the very beginning, when they were put in the position to cast a vote, based on very little... "They didn't vote for her....." Wow, just wow...

I can just see her now, as she was watching that first episode air, with those little pursed, overly-lip-glossed, lips, Making her little checklist on which guys that it happened to show voting for who. Making her little black-list.

If one wants to judge for some negative comments, judgements, and name-calling... (not hate speech, but just expressive descriptors) then count Kaitlyn in with the mix.

Believe me, my opinions of her were formed AFTER that initial vote.
And, even beginning BEFORE she got with Nick.

Again, it is what it is, what it is.

You know what they say about putting lipstick on a pig...
All the pretty sparkles and (revealing) dresses on the planet cannot hide who and what this woman really is.

I thought that calling guys out for not voting for her was particularly catty. She's seemed pretty "rough around the edges" all season to me. Oh, and I cannot STAND her bird phobia in combination with those butt ugly bird tattoos she had on her arms.

Men Tell All.... I'm watching popcorn::

I forgot about Tony "the healer". I still find him strangely attractive.

I find him just strange.

I think they are setting up Ben Z as the next Bachelor. I'd watch!

I think Ben H is getting the "next Bachelor" edit.

I agree with Ben H as the next... but I wouldn't be shocked if it was Ben Z.

Wow! People are really nailing Kaitlyn being a wh***. The death threats are way out of line though. She has a right to spread her legs if she wants and the guys all know it and agree to SHARE. :rolleyes1

People are free to express their opinions, but sending someone a direct email... Well you're free to do that too.
But people living in glass houses...

or if you prefer, let he who is without... cast the first stone.

I missed the Tony, "the healer" segment. Did he say anything good?

He spoke at length for six hours and when they edited out the non-sensical gibberish there was nothing left.

If Ben H is the next bachelor, I am going to be one of the 25 eligible bachelorettes. For shizzle.

Was I the only one that wanted to reach out and slap Kaitlyn? She was so smug and obnoxious. She was especially catty when she mentioned Britt.

I didn't think so at all. I was more "Go Kaitlyn!" Some guy calls her out for picking someone else while he did the same thing?

Britt is a "trophy wife"? What a snot. Britt may have her own issues, but I don't think she would say something so nasty about Kaitlyn.

I didn't read it that way at all.
She was calling him out for looking for a trophy wife. Not calling out any woman (Brit in this case) who he winds up with.

Speaking of Britt, she and Brady broke up (no spoilers on this site that I can see):

Oh? Too bad. But not surprised. Long distance relationships are not easy.

Robin, horrible if she was referring to Britt. But honestly I didn't even think Britt when reading it.

Ditto.

Oh, and I cannot STAND her bird phobia in combination with those butt ugly bird tattoos she had on her arms.

That phobia is pretty over the top. Maybe even to the point that she should see if she can get some help for it?
And while I do get the symbolism of her bird tats, and I did laugh when she said "I can't see them!", I don't care for them either.
Personal preference, YMMV.

might be missing something here.

Doubt it.

And my prior thoughts had little to do with defending Kaitlyn. Although I think she deserves to be defended, she can do that all on her own. Because unlike others I don't see her as insecure and without any confidence.

We all judge others, obviously. My rambling was only about those gross words.

To me she wasn't calling out guys for not voting for her Robin, she was showing them (him?) that they were being hypocritical with their thoughts.

I don't think it was hypocritical at all because she's trying to compare apples to oranges to make her look better. The men played the game within the rules set out by the program. They *had* to choose based on a few hours of time and whatever they had seen in the previous season. Kaitlyn gleefully went along with a producer's drama stunt and brought into the mix someone she had an existing relationship with. Say what you like about The Farmer, but he shut that producer BS down.

I see we're going to have two camps on this.

"Okay Kaitlyn, we want you to find the love of your life. Here's 25 guys to try and find one. No guarantees though."
"Great... but I might be in love with this other guy... I'd like him to come too."
"No you can't because all those guys you're going to send home eventually might not like it."

Might not be fair to the other guys? What's that got to do with it?
So let's say she winds up with Nick and they live happily ever after. Would it have been better for her to say "Well it's not fair to the other guys, so I'll risk not liking any of them rather than offend them."

And if the guy she picks isn't Nick, (ie Shawn) then it didn't really matter anyway did it?

I would much rather have a girl tell me that she still picked me even though she thought she might have had something with someone than tell me that she's not sure if she made a mistake by not making things sure in her mind.
Isn't that what the bachelor/bachelorette do anyway? In the end it comes down to two people and one gets picked.

My point is that when Jonathon called her out on bringing in another man into the mix she slapped him down by mentioning that he voted for Britt. Like he's not allowed to have feelings for her or be annoyed about Nick if he didn't vote for her from the start. That was, IMO, catty.

Frankly, I *hope* she ends up with Nick. They make a good pair.

I honestly don't know which one I want her to end up with.
I think she'll pick Nick, though.

I get your point, but I guess I see it differently.
If he's allowed to pick someone else yet still remain in the group, isn't she allowed to pick someone from outside the group if she feels there might be someone there?
I guess I see it as the men feeling upset because the odds of them being "the one" just went down.
But it's not supposed to be about the odds or a competition is it?

Perhaps it would've been better if she said to the producers "Look, I think I might have something with Nick. So I'm going to leave the show... possibly forever and see what happens."
But if it didn't work out, then what? No Kaitlyn as bachelorette for one.

I totally get where you're coming from, though.

But let me ask you this.
If he's allowed to have feelings for Britt, yet stay on the show. Why is she not allowed to have feelings for Nick and bring him on the show?

We don't know that he had feelings for Britt, just that he preferred her in the sort amount of time he had to make his choice.

Good point.

I think this is just going to be one of those times when we'll have to agree to disagree! :)

All I can say is that I will be glad when this is over tomorrow night. I think this season has been a big snooze fest with manufactured drama. I also DID NOT care for the way they chopped things up....with rose ceremonies happening in the middle of shows. I sure hope they don't keep that little feature next season.

OR it could be they were planning on having Kaitlyn as the Bachelorette, but then she told them she has something going with Nick. So, the had to go with plan B and make Britt the Bachelorette. Then Kaitlyn decided to come on the show anyway, KNOWING she probably isn't going to end up with any of the guys. That's why the whole thing was a joke to her in a way.

OR the show told her they'll introduce her to 25 guys and bring on Nick later in the season. And if she still wants to, she can, of course choose Nick.

They tried to bring on someone later in the season at least 3 other times. So this isn't something NEW. Once with Farmer Chris and Andi. I don't remember if they tried that with Emily too. I do remember that Shantelle/Chantel (however her name is spelled) came on for one episode, too.

So probably her sleeping with Nick isn't anything new at all. :rolleyes1

so anyone bothering to watch tonight or just check the results later? I skipped the last 2 weeks but I *think* Kaitlin's family meets the guys tonight, right? the format is so changed up who knows. I am curious to see who her family seems to prefer, if either of them! I will prob DVR it and ff thru the crud (90% lol) we have a beautiful day today and don't plan on wasting a nice evening on tv
