Me, my DH, and DD will be there on Sept 14th. Our first MNSSHP!!!! My DD will be turning 5 that week on Wednesday, we are so excited. I'm thinking me and my DH will wear tshirts (that I will make)- with something from the creative designs from this board, they have some great designs for MNSSHP 2007- really cute (never done this, I hope they are cute when I make them:rotfl2: ) My daughter will definately dress up, probably be a pirate (what she wants to be), or a princess (what I want her to be)!

I've been searching through the board and couldn't find...figured you had marked them in your favorites! I made shirts for our last trip in January and they were a huge hit so definitely want to do some this year, espeically for MNSSHP.

We will be there the week of October 21st. Haven't decided on which night for the MNSSHP yet. I will make that decision when the official dates come out! Our family of 4 is really looking forward to our trip this time because it is the first time for us for MNSSHP!!! I want to dress up too. I was thinking of buying scrubs for myself and dressing as a nurse since this would not be hard to pack in the suitcase! Not sure about the rest of the family yet, but if anyone has any ideas I would be thankful to hear some!!!:goodvibes

Oct 18th here! We went in Oct 2005 & it was great fun.

Thanks for the info!! We're planning on Oct 29th or 30th. Can't wait!!!! :dance3:

update: Didn't see the 29th listed, sooo, the 30th...Still can't wait!! :dance3:

We'll be partying on Oct 4th. I'm so excited, it's our first special event at WDW (after years of trips) and we get to hit the F&WF the next day! Talk about calorie overload! :rotfl2:

To second mikayla73's question, has anyone done an early dinner at LTT? We're thinking of scheduling a 4:30-ish ADR before the party. DD found the characters fascinating last week, so it would be a great way to kick the evening off for her. Will they be in costume? Thanks for any info!

Yes, the characters at LTT will be decked out in the Halloween attire starting right as their dinner hours begin, which is about 3:30p.

That's very cool about LTT! We are hoping to get early evening ADR's for the day we go to MNSSHP :goodvibes

Subscribing!

We will be there Oct.27-Nov 3, so our only three possible days (if the dates are accurate) will be Oct. 29th, 30th or 31st. We have never been before, but I thought it might be nice since we will be missing Halloween at home (my two DD's will be 4 and 8). Will those nights be crazy?

We ( me and DFi will be DH by then) will be there Oct 8-15th on our Disneymoon and are planning on going Oct 9th if the dates stay the same with and ADR for LTT. I can't wait it is going to be our first MNSSHP and F&W. Thanks for the info!!!

Im so excited this will be my first MNSSHP! I will definatly be there on the 5th for the Dis meet (check out my siggy if u want more info). Then im thinking I may check it out on the 4th as well.

It will also be our first time to MNSSHP. :woohoo: DH will be Jack Sparrow, I'll be Elizabeth Swan, and the kids will be Tinkerbell & Peter Pan (unless they change their minds!).

The only hard part will be getting our costumes packed! My dress will take almost a suitcase in itself.

I can't wait, and the kids will go nuts over the candy.

Keep those tips & hints coming - I'm making a list, too!

So is LTT the only restaurant where the characters "dress up"? We were going to make an ADR for CP around 5 PM that evening. But now the LTT sounds interesting. We ate at LTT our last trip and the food did not impress me. I guess no for CP since they aren't open during the party?

Yes, LTT is the only restaurant that the characters dress a bit more festive (mask/festive apron). Both LTT and Tony's are open till about 9:30p and both of their waiters/waitresses wear make-up to kind of look like HM CMs.

CP, the Castle and the Plaza are open till park closing, taking ADRs till around 6:00p/6:30p.

I don't really like the food at LTT so eating there twice before parties was enough for us. My girls prefer CP or Tony's food. We did the Castle once but with the price increase, that will no longer be an option.
