Emilyclaire - honestly you can skip the trick or treat lines - there's enough other stuff to do :)

Very true... but the whole reason DH got talked into it was all the candy he'd get to eat. :rotfl:

He wasn't much for the idea of buying a MNSSHP admission ticket on top of our parkhopper passes. But I think I will win in the end!

trying to plan our trip 9/15 - 9/22 so the 9/21 party will be perfect for us. Last trip night and great night in MK to end it. :cool1:

To all those who have been before, are we really better off going on a Monday instead of a Friday? We will be in WDW 9/28-10/8 and have a choice of a few nights. We were planning on doing it the day we arrive. We will be driving down from inlaws' house in Savannah (about 5 hrs I think) that morning. Are we nuts? Should we wait for another day and spend more time relaxing at the hotel before going? Hmmm... :confused3

How much do tickets generally run for MNSSHP? Just found out the first one may be our last night of our possible trip. Would love to attend!

These were the costs last year. I pulled them from AllEars.net:

Regular price: Age 10 and older, $45.75; Age 3 - 9, $35.95
Advanced purchase price for nights through October 26: Age 10 and older, $39.36; Age 3-9, $31.90 (discounted rate not available October 27, 30, and 31)

We'll be there on the 16th also! Can't wait!

We are planning on October 25. We were there last year Mid October and it was great. Looking forward to going again. The amount of candy we got was INSANE. We were still eating it at Thanksgiving.

We're trying to put together a trip in Sept. If so we will be going on the 21st. I can't wait, we're halloween junkies so it should be lots of fun. Do many grown-ups dress up too?

We'll be going on Sept 21st, look out for a dark fairie and a "glam" pirate!

Hi!

We'll be there (me, DH, DS9, DS6, and DS4) on the 21st! Our first time MNSSHP. We'll be at the CR for our first 3 nights - wanted to take advantage of the monorail for the party. :yay:

We are going this year for the first time also. I am thinking that Oct 1st will be when we go. It's our first trip to WDW and we have MNSSHP and the F&WF!

I told DH that we are going and he isn't going to be happy about paying the extra money once he figures out that it costs extra! :scared1: But he knows how much I want to go so he'll get over it. I can't persuade him with candy since can take or leave it. :confused3 I know crazy huh, if there's chocolate I am there  We just need to figure out if we are going to dress up and as what.:goodvibes

Subscribing!

I haven't decided on a date yet but it we'll probably go in October. Hoping for an AP discount :)

Me, my DH, and DD will be there on Sept 14th. Our first MNSSHP!!!! My DD will be turning 5 that week on Wednesday, we are so excited. I'm thinking me and my DH will wear tshirts (that I will make)- with something from the creative designs from this board, they have some great designs for MNSSHP 2007- really cute (never done this, I hope they are cute when I make them:rotfl2: ) My daughter will definately dress up, probably be a pirate (what she wants to be), or a princess (what I want her to be)!

We (me, DH and DS's ages 12 and 9) will be at the October 11th party. We can't wait!

Anyone who has been before, what time do the charcs show up at LTT? I was thinking of eating an early dinner there before the official start time of MNSSHP, maybe around 4:30 or 5p. We wouldn't have to go to LTT, but if the charcs will be there all dressed up, I thought it would be a fun start to my first MNSSHP!
