"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

What time should we line up for Jack? He's the only one my DH wants to meet, and we will be there well before 4pm. :)

Did either of the first 2 parties sell out? Wondering what the crowds were like. I figured the first one was a lot more crowded than the 2nd but hadn't really heard anything. We will go to our first party Dec 1 since the last time we went to one was way back when we did the Pirates and Princess party and it honestly felt like there was maybe 10 families in the park!! We walked right up to all the characters with no waits we didn't have to exit rides they let you ride as much as you wanted and we were the only ones on the rides. I guess that is why they don't do that party anymore. Those were the good old days :)

Has anyone done the dessert party yet to give a review? We have it booked for our party date and I'm worried about it taking too much time. However, we will be traveling with my MIL who has some mobility issues, so I was hoping it would help with the parade and fireworks viewing. Trying to weigh the pros and cons.

I'm in the same boat and also really hoping to see some dessert party reviews before our party date next month!

We'd like to meet Daisy with Scrooge, and if Clarabelle is there, we'd like to meet her, too.

I know we've been talking about meeting Clarabelle Cow. I'm still unsure if she's doing a dance party at Diamond Horseshoe this year, but from instagram photos and videos, it looks like she's featured in Mickey's stage show! She's got a white sparkly dress, boa, and helps sing, "All I Want for Christmas is You." She looks updated too and has the magic facial elements of talking Mickey! So if anything you can see her there.

Just a quick review of last night. We had an amazing time!!! Definitely didn't feel crowded, especially on Main Street. We met the dwarfs, scrooge and donald, minnie and daisy, and Santa. Stopped at 3 of the treat spots. Saw the fireworks, second parade, and final castle stage show. We tried to meet Mary and Bert but they were going on break and we didn't want to wait online for them to come back. We also waned to meet Mickey; his posted wait was 10 mins but looked slightly longer and we had somewhere else to get to. There are lots of photographers out!! Heard there's a zero magic shot near the haunted mansion exit. There's also A Santa Tinkerbell one on Main street- so cute! We will be attending Thursday's party and i'll report as well!

Also if you're entering at 4 (or if you're already in the park!)- head to the breezeway in town square on the right once you enter the park next to Tony's! About 3 special photopass stops and you get a free cookie!
Thanks so much- I have been trying to find out if there are special photo ops and where! Does anyone know if there is a sleigh somewhere?

I am in the same situation with my mother!

I came home from the my first Halloween party and there was NO WAY she could do all that running around, standing in line, and standing for the parade and Wishes. I too have the dessert party reserved and have concerns over time. I ended up adding a night onto our stay with the plan of doing two Christmas parties and cancelling the dessert party. The price is almost the same, and I plan on doing the parade one night, Wishes another, and taking the parties casually for her.

We went to tomorrowland terrace desert party last Mardi Gras. Was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the view. Assorted desserts and cheeses were served along with various drinks. Did the HS starwars desert party as well, not impressed as we had to stand the entire time in contrast to the MK party where you were seated. There were more options for food and drink at HS however. Both were something we are glad we did once but probably won't do again

Has anybody found any pictures of Belle at this year's party? I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth waiting to meet her in her cape/shawl/whatever since we're already going to meet her in her blue dress at Epcot.

They were blue snow cones. This is the best picture I got. Sugar cookies at this same place were shaped like something (I can't remember what) and had blue sprinkles. Tasted like regular sugar cookies.

When we walked in and went to the right they were green almond tree shaped cookies. Those were my favorite.

Egg nog was regular cold egg nog (the guy in front of me complained about that???) then the molassescookies with it were good. My second favorite.

Lunching pad had mouth burning hot cocoa that took 20 minutes to be drinkable. Peppermint cookies definitely tasted like peppermint. My kids were not fans of them.

I did not make it adventureland for the last type of cookie.

We went to the first party on Monday and stopped at all the treat areas.
Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland had hot chocolate and snickerdoodles.
Pete's Silly Sideshow Circus, Fantasyland had hot apple cider and snowman sugar cookies.
Frair's Nook had the blue snow cone and sugar cookies.

DH wants to see Sandy Clause, and DS wants to see Nick and Judy and Scrooge. How many hours of waiting in line am I looking at? What's the best order? Thanks!

That's a tall order! If it were me, I'd do it like this:

Line up early for Jack ASAP! I'm not sure what time he's coming out for MVMCP, but at the Halloween party I lined up around 4:30pm, and by the time Jack & Sally came out (about 5:40 that day) the line was already 2 hours long. I would say do that first.

Then head to Scrooge, I'd try to be in line for that by 6:30.

Enjoy some party entertainment, etc.

Try for Nick and Judy right after the fireworks. (They will be super popular, but my bet is that those "in the know" or who have little kids who want to meet them will go early, and the line will be a bit more humane later on in the evening, whereas I think Jack will be nuts all night.)

That would be my strategy, anyway. Expect long lines no matter how you slice it :D Good luck!

Can anyone who has been to a party this year let us know if the stores start selling MVMCP merchandise at 4 or at 7? Or somewhere in between?

Thanks for the updates everyone!

Going to the party next Tuesday. Says 40% chance of rain. Anyone else going a little worried?

Meet & Greet question. My first party. If we want to get over to see Scrooge/Donald, and get there early, is there something telling us where the line begins? Figuring theres a sign or something?
