"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

We will be the parks 11/29-12/7. I'm wondering which party we should book? It's me DH and DD (2). I've never been before and I am super excited !!

We've usually gone on Sundays and have always had a good time and not much problem with the crowd. I assume because Sundays are usually a "departure" or "arrive/settle in" day at The World.

We are arriving from the UK on the 17th Dec, I am thinking the Dec 22nd party will be the best option for us as we are usually not fully adjusted to american time within the first two days which rules out the party on the 18th. Is the december 22nd party going to be crazy busy? little worried.

It's will be sold out for sure, but we have been there on sold out nights and it's never been as crazy as the Christmas, New Year or July 4th crowds as they limit the number of tickets sold.
Plan for 3 fp between 3:30 and 6:30 pm, and have a decent plan and you'll be fine.

Just booked a quick trip Dec. 10-14! Planning on going 12/11. A question...if you are in the park that day before 4pm how do you get the wrist band that says you are there for the party as well? Do we have to leave the park at 4pm and then reenter?

No need to leave the park. They will set up MVMCP kiosks in the park where CM will give you your wrist band. I wouldn't know where though: last time I did this was 2009, and I went to the kiosk in the Rose Garden, which of course doesn't exist anymore.

We are planning a split stay Universal and Disney visit, and trying to incorporate going one night to the MVMCP sometime early to mid November. We went to one of the parties years ago when they actually shut the park and then re-opened it for party ticket holders only. Now am I correct that we can enter at 4Pm and stay until closing with party tickets?

So, I just go on the WDW site and buy the tickets? Do they have FP+ during the party? Thanks!

1. Yep.

2. When they become available, yep.

3. No. If it's like last year, you can book between 3:30 and 6:30.

Hello! We are excited to attend our first Christmas party in their first week in November. We can go either Nov 7, 8, or 10. Any tips on which one to pick? Will Thurs the 10th be too crowded heading into Veteran's Day Weekend? Will the 7th be awesome because it's the first? Or would the Tuesday the 8th be perfect? Open to all pros and cons.
It will be a party of six: myself and DH plus sons ages 6-11 and a 2.5yo toddler DD.

I will make a suggestion:

If you are interested in making FP's for both Epcot and the party night, you can do this by setting up another MDE using a different e-mail, or setting up "phantoms".

For example, you have your regular park passes under your e-mail, and you purchase party passes under your boyfriend's e-mail. You make Epcot FP's on your MDE, and the party FP's on his.

Another way would be to create "phantoms" using you middle names and last name. Attach the party tickets to these phantoms to make party FP's, and use tickets under your real names to make Epcot FP's.

Voila! Two set of FP's!
This sounds like a great tip, thanks! But, I'm trying to figure out how it would work if we are already in the park. Say we book our 3 FP's on the tickets with our package. We purchase our party tickets under my husband's email so we can book additional FP's. Do we link the party tickets to our magic bands or just bring the hard copy tickets? If we bring the hard copy tickets, where would our FP's be stored? Sorry for being dense about this!

I'm going the same week. We picked Thurs 11/10 because it works best with our schedule. This might help you decide:)

If they let you book fast passes between 3.30pm and 6.30pm, does that mean you can enter the park from 3.30? I have always read they let you in from 4?
