"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

This is not the first time I have seen someone post seeing this same thing for MVMCP this year and it is upsetting. Could they be letting a lot of people without tickets? Are the parties that undersold?

That's what I was wondering...but if so, it really bothers me because those tickets are expensive! I can't believe how much the prices have gone up since the first time I went to one of the parties several years ago -- then it was around $65 per ticket, I think). But they were definitely not checking at all -- they were even calling people over to get wristbands. It bothered me.

I wish you had gone to guest services to let them know what was happening. I'm so disappointed to hear about this. We'll already be in the park when we get our wristbands so we won't know what's happening at the front gate, but I sure hope they put an end to this practice. What a slap in the face to all of us who paid for the privilege of attending!

We had entered the park at 2PM on our CP day. Opted to walk over to Stitch and get banded around 4PM. We showed our tickets and were directed inside a ropeline, where a CM swiped the tickets and then directed us to another CM in charge of applying the wrist band. The problem was that right where the CM's were giving out wrist bands, other guests were exiting a gift shop. 2 groups of guests, those who paid and those who were cutting through, were converging. Well, in no less than 10 seconds of our being there, a very nice, elderly Indian couple who did not speak any English, left the gift shop and simply extended their wrists to the closest CM, since they saw others (us) doing the same. One "new" CM went ahead and applied wristbands, no questions asked. Another CM and manager saw what was happening and called the couple back as they walked away, removing the wrist bands and taking charge of the situation. They then realized that the setup was not ideal and placed another rope line so that guests exiting the gift shop were diverted around the banding area. Curious to see if others have seen the same setup since we left.

Nick and Judy from zootopia are only t MVMCP right? DD wants to meet them but I'm guessing the line is nuts!!

Yes you can only meet them at MVMCP. So far sounds like the line is very long. We want to meet them too but haven't figured out the best time to go yet.

Advice please! :)
We have decided on our must do's and through together a basic plan of attack:
4-6 rides, treats, shopping
6:00 Line up for Scrooge (is this too late?) (does he meet before 7?)
After Scrooge - Pooh and Friends
8:15 Frozen Wish
Meet Aurora/MP
9:40 find a spot for fireworks
11:00 parade
Meet Mickey

Is this doable? I'm trying not to commit to specific times since I don't know how long characters will be...
How hard will it be to find a spot for Frozen? I'm worried it will be nuts with people waiting for the parade.
I'm open to any and all suggestions! Thanks!

You can only enter on the right if you have party tickets. The cast members were pretty close to the people scanning their bands to get in when we went to the 10/30 Halloween party and 11/8 Christmas party. Pretty hard to sneak in and pretend you just scanned.

There are certain turnstiles for the party ticket holders as opposed to general admission. So those with party tickets would be the only ones through those lines I believe...

No treats available from 4-6 pm, they don't come out until 7pm

Wow finally a party is sold out I wonder what is it about tomorrow as opposed to the busier times...
