Just bought tickets for the 11/20 party! Its our first MVMCP, so we are very excited!

It's my first party too. I can't stop posting on this thread because no one else I know is excited about this party except people on this board. lol. What would I do without this place?

I will always claim that the birthday I spent in the hospital in labor was the best because I got to hold dd just before midnight, BUT spending this birthday in magic kingdom with dd turning 7 = priceless!

Anyone else have a dessert party booked for their party night?

I booked it for our party night December 10th.

I keep seeing people's reviews saying it wasn't worth it and it's bumming me out!!lol

It's just me and DH so I'm not concerned about it taking party time away.
Even though it's a bit pricey, I think I'm okay with that.

I figure this is the best way for me to get a seat and wait for the fireworks. I have a torn Peroneal tendon and I figure this is the best way to rest my leg and not have to stand in one spot for so long waiting.

We have one booked as well. We've done the party on a regular night and it's not my favorite view of the fireworks (a bit off center) but with 2 littles I'm looking forward to not having to hold a spot for an hour and to the chance to sit for a bit. Gives us a chance to recharge for the rest of the night!!

Hoping for someone that could do me a favor - we won't be traveling to WDW for MVMCP but they just announced the special card they are giving away, OLAF! If someone going could do me a BIG favor and pick me up one I would be very appreciative!

They give them out at the Firehouse and in Liberty Square during the event. TIA!

Are the desserts worth $50? Not really. But that's not the point - You're paying for a decent spot to watch the fireworks with minimal crowds, seating AND the desserts. It's also covered in case it gets kinda rainy out and tinkerbell flies over your head so there's that too.

Do it, you won't be disappointed.

Note however that you really can't sit during the fireworks - you'll have to stand up by the railing to get the best view.

I figured we would need to stand by the railing when the fireworks are about to start, but at least I won't have to before that!
