****Official May 2012 Thread**** ALMOST TIME TO LEAVE!!

I ordered our tickets through mousesavers this week & pre-ordered our Photopass. Not sure why but I had a $50 credit on my account so it only costed $50!!! Yay!!! All I have left to order is our Universal tickets & our TIW card. I made tiedye Mickey shirts yesterday and they turned out AWESOME! I'm going to surprise everyone with them the night before we leave so we can wear them on our first day :)

I've also been hitting the gym every day for the past week. I lost 6 pounds so far!!! :cool1: 20 more to go and I will be SOOO happy!!!

DW is starting to cave a little on another WDW trip. C'mpn FD for late May, the kids get out 5/23.

I still have to order my photopass and book. I received the photopass book free last time with the package I purchased and had such fun making it that I have to do it again. :goodvibes
I have 82 days left!!!!:)

wow, bonus about the $50 credit!! That must have been a nice surprise :)

DD wants me to tie dye a few shirts for her - is it easy?? I've never done it before :confused3

and GOOD FOR YOU on the weight loss!!!:thumbsup2 I started running in Nov for the Expedition Everest 5K on May 5th and was starting to wonder why no pounds were shedding but suddenly they are - I'm down a few but not enough you'd think to show but I've had a few comments that it's noticable so i must have been building muscle first (this the no weight loss showing) and now that I've got some muscle I'm dropping a few pounds and looking more toned. it feel SO good hey?? You can do it!! Keep it up.

I'm right around 81/82 days too!!! yay!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Just booked our mini-trip! Family of 4 staying at All-Star sports the 9-13. We were just there in December but our trip wasn't so great due to a nasty bout of food poisoning. We are hoping this little trip will re-capture our Disney love!!!

Only 110 days left for me! I've decided to create a 100 day countdown on my computer and this is what I've got so far:
DisneyCountdown100-81.jpg

What do you think?
I've only gotten to 81 since I've started today but it is pretty easy so I'm sure I'll have it done in no time! I'm going to cut around the bottom of each box so that each row of numbers stay attach but flip up and then I'm going to staple them to another sheet of paper with disney facts. So everyday we can pull off one of the numbers and underneath will be a fact! :goodvibes

These all print off on an 8x10 sheet of paper and they are put together on photoshop. If anybody would like a copy of this when I get them all done just shoot me a message and I can try and send you jpegs of each sheet so you can print them off too!

I got most of my clipart from www.disneyclips.com

114 more days! 2 months until pay-off day too...I'm still keeping the surprise from the kids...I don't know how Ive been able to do it, but it scares me the level of deception I'm ok with ;)

May cannot come soon enough!!!

I am late joining but we are going in May too and it is the first time for everyone in our family but me. I went many years ago at the age of 12 with my great aunt, when there was only Magic Kingdom & Epcot. The rest of my family is my husband, my mom, our daughter 8, and our son 7. We are flying in and rented points at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House. Our trip is Friday May 4th- Saturday May 12th. We got 7 day tickets with no park hoppers or water parks & got the regular dining plan. We are going to have breakfast in our rooms most days. I just posted our itinerary on the regular board, but thought I'd post it here as well.

Fri 5/4 Land 10 AM, Magical Express to AKL, Lunch at Mara, Head to MK to get our Mickey ears, see the castle & the daytime show & parade, maybe FP Mickey M&G, nothing major, 5:10 ADR @ Liberty Tree Tavern

I LOVE the countdown! I would definitely like to have a copy when you finish... always nice to plan ahead.. lol... so since I'm pretty much set on this trip, I've begun planning my NEXT trip (whenever that will be).

T-Rex (a repeat)
Ohana (a repeat)
Boma (new to us)
Crystal Palaee (a repeat but a tradition)
Haven't decided between Sci-Fi or 50s Prime Time (both would be repeats)
Via Napoli (new to us)
Coral Reef (a repeat)

We are doing:
Liberty Tree Tavern-at the suggestion of a good friend
Akershus- less time looking for princess autographs in the parks plus the free picture
50s Primetime-also suggested by a friend
1900 Park Fare breakfast-who can resist Alice, Mad Hatter, & Mary Poppins? My husband will want breakfast outside the room at this point
Boma breakfast- we're stayingat AKL, have to try ts at least once
Rainforest Cafe-chosen over Trex because it sounds like its less likely to give mom & me a migraine noise & flashing light wise
1900 Park Fare dinner- Cinderella without using 2 table service credits plus the Tremaines who I hear are hysterical & Prince Charming
Tony's Town Square
Chef Mickey's breakfast on departure morning to say goodbye to Mickey (boo)
This is our first & only trip. We love Disney but we've saved forever to go. I don't see it happening again and there are other places we'd like to take the kids. So we are doing it up right and planned 4 character meals with variety. I hope they're all good.

We had a reservation for Cape May Clambake but I cancelled it and will see about doing a walk up. I felt this one was too much of a risk with the Credit Card guarantee.

I cannot wait for our trip!! :yay:

Cape May is always at the top of our list and we have Lecellier that's it so far. We have gone with heavy ADR and light we like the laid back approach, not feeling rushed.:rolleyes1

Yes we've lied through our teeth too:rolleyes1 We didn't tell our kids until that very morning:scared1: "Hey kids, your not going to school today, your getting on a plane and flying to DISNEY".And we're doing to the same this year:yay::yay:
