Two weeks from TODAY we'll be at CS for one night, then the rest of the week at the Poly. DS and DD will be through will college final exams and need a break! Can't think of a better place to go for that; so glad they still love going there as much as their dad and I ... wouldn't be the same without them.

I cannot believe it!! I am so ready to go! I have a bunch of little things to do this week so hopefully it will fly by.

We are going May 1-10 at Pop Century! I will have my LGMH's and I am going to try to print out something I can stick up in our window to show we are DIS'ers!

I talked to my grandparents today and she asked me to come stay with them for a few days before I go to Disney. So it looks like Ill be leaving for down south even earlier! They live 45mins south of Tampa so Ill be real close to the world and can get to Epcot even earlier for the last day of the Flower Festival. Cannot wait to get to Florida!!!

My planslook like this:

I'm trying so hard to be good and focus on the final exams I have coming up this week (college 10 years after high school is hard enough without a Disney trip on the brain!) and my "reward" is start packing after my last test on Wednesday. I'm *READY*!!!

I'm trying so hard to be good and focus on the final exams I have coming up this week (college 10 years after high school is hard enough without a Disney trip on the brain!) and my "reward" is start packing after my last test on Wednesday. I'm *READY*!!!

I returned to college about 15 years after dropping out of college in 1993. I've done 3 years now consecutively with no break (not even summer) so this summer with NO school is going to be AWESOME! I am walking down the aisle for my Associates May 19th! Going to keep going for my bachelors in the fall.

I've also got my last speech, last test, a final and 4 more chapters of reading to do too. I asked to take my one test early so we can go on vacation! Luckily he was agreeable!

I'm absolutely distracted by the Disney trip, May 6th. OMG, so close!

I feel you. I am doing two classes right now that do not finish until May 11th but worked out with instructors to turn in work early so I have nothing to do after we leave late on May 7th. So May 8th-May22 no school and fun filled days at Disney. Then no school until July

8 days Parks + 4 days Water Parks and DTD + 2 Days DHS for SWW=14days of fun.

I did some more vacation prep today. Mostly just little stuff. I went through the pressed pennies we got last time and printed maps of the penny locations and marked off the ones we have. Then I went through our change bank and pulled out a bunch of shiny pennies and quarters for the penny press when we are there. DH thinks I'm a bit weird with the pennies, but I love looking at them!
I also went through our autograph book from last trip and glued pictures of DD with the characters on the page opposite their signatures. We were thinking of bringing the same autograph book, but now with the pictures it's getting pretty thick so I think we'll buy a new one.
I also went on amazon's website and ordered a new lanyard. The one I had last time broke and I totally forgot about it until today. It's purple/black zebra stripe. I'm very excited about it.
Also, washed swimsuits and got them put up on the china cabinet so they are ready for our trip.

I started getting ready to pack. That means I tried on my shorts and capris to be sure they still fit and washed them so they'll be ready to pack this week.

In one week, I'll be trying very hard to get to sleep to rest up for our early early flight!

Will be adding my DIS luggage tags that I made to my bags tomorrow. Have checked in on line. Verified park hours for next week. Gee could this go by any slower? I am so ready for this trip it will be the first time DH and I have done Disney alone since 2005. I am also hoping to get a little swimming in this year siince we usually go in the fall. I am even going to pack DH's swim trunks. They are cute with sharks all over them. I don't know if he will participate or not. I can do that while he does something else. We have our APs from Dec. We are trying out Bluezoo and Artist Point for the first time this trip, too.

On 4/28 I get to start making ADRs for the October trip with my parents. DH thinks I am nuts. I know you guys understand.

In 2 weeks, we will (hopefully, as long as the plane is at least relatively on time ) be settling in to our new home away from home for 9 days!!! Checking out the resort, maybe jumping in the pool for a bit.....I can't wait!!!!

I am really frustrated at the moment. I recieved a summons for jury duty today to begin on May 23. We leave for Disney May 25th. Of the other 50 weeks in the year they could have chosen, why did they pick the two weeks we were going to be in Disney. I am going to try and postpone, I don't mind serving just not those two weeks.

That happened to me in 2008. Just call them. They won't make you miss your vacation. Just be willing to be put back in the rotation for later in the year.
