Official May 2011 thread!

I feel you. I am doing two classes right now that do not finish until May 11th but worked out with instructors to turn in work early so I have nothing to do after we leave late on May 7th. So May 8th-May22 no school and fun filled days at Disney. Then no school until July

8 days Parks + 4 days Water Parks and DTD + 2 Days DHS for SWW=14days of fun.

I feel you I will be leaving on our trip two days before our last week of class, so I have alot of homework to be cought up on... Two final papers, I usually get my work done and turned in the night it is due but this time I have to have both final research papers done 7 days early.

I'm also waiting on a package from the Disney store! Last minute tee shirt order for DH and I--I'm actually going to get him in a Mickey shirt this year!! I see that our tickers are similar, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we both get our packages (and your ME tags!) before we leave!!

Completed online check in today

I'm jealous. I'm trying to check in but, Disney is DOWN. Not fair! How can Disney be down and on MY check in day. On top of my ME ticket being lost in the land of postal service, I'm getting a not so nice feeling.

I am really frustrated at the moment. I recieved a summons for jury duty today to begin on May 23. We leave for Disney May 25th. Of the other 24 weeks in the year they could have chosen, why did they pick the two weeks we were going to be in Disney. I am going to try and postpone, I don't mind serving just not those two weeks.

I had this happen to my DD when we had a cruise booked. She called and they just reslated her. She wasn't trying to get out of it. Like you said just not THAT week after months of planning and paying.

We are at 19 days today!!! I can't believe we're in the teens! Kids found their Easter baskets this morning, filled with Disney light up cups, Disney eggs with magic dough inside & of course, a few Disney dollars

I finished up my mini books for the parks each day and my main info book... they are full of info and extra space that I can keep track of everything while we're there

Finally down to DAYS only (no more months in my ticker!!!)

Still trying to decide on carry-on only.......mostly carry-on with 1 checked bag to be delivered by ME.......mostly carry-on with 1 checked bag to be p/u by us before getting on ME.

WooHoo! One week to go! The Easter bunny was nice enough to deliver packages from Mickey and the gang for the girls. They were full of fun things for them to do on the drive down.

We went through all the clothes and we have to pick up a couple things still. We got the suitcases out and have started packing. I have to run some things up to Staples for binding this week.

Time is going to go fast I hope!!!

2 weeks from tomorrow we'll be on our way to BWV!
Yesterday I kept thinking it was 17 days away still and around 10 pm I realized that it was 16 days! I told DH that I feel like vacation just got a whole day closer because I was thinking of the wrong day in my countdown. He laughed at me. LOL

Ooo, just had to post that I just talked DH into leaving earlier!!! He'll have to take a day off of work (unpaid, ouch!) but this way, we can take our time, stop both nights, relax and hopefully be right NEXT to Disney World for early Sunday morning rope drop!!!

In the teens today! We need this vacation so much!! It's so nice to leave everything behind for 9 days. No laptop, phones go in the room safe as soon as we get there. It's going to be great. Just us and the Mouse!

I just joined the site today. My family and I are going to Disney World in May for our FIRST visit. I am so excited. We have been talking about this vacation for four years and now that my husband and I are both out of college we can finally go. So excited to be going, it's my first time and our countdown is almost out of double digits ! When we booked in December it felt like this was NEVER going to come. This is my first 'real' vacation....ever I think.
