We are expecting another large snow storm! I can't wait for the sun!

my mother & I were best friends, and the best disney companions.
My mother passed away on February 20th. This is the most devastating
thing that has ever and will ever happen to me.

Here's the thing--the Thursday before she passed away, she told me she wanted to plan a disney vacation for May.

So, I think I will go in May to celebrate her life, and what she has instilled in me. I plan on going with our best friend and his girlfriend and another one of my friends, so we would get two rooms. I'm thinking May 18th-24th (southwest has incredible deals if you fly those days)

Hopefully I will be able to post on here again, I know my ma is looking down on me as she spreads her pixie dust

What a touching & sweet tribute! I think your mom would be so proud & I hope your Disney dreams come true & you get to celebrate your mom in this way!

My mom is also one of my BFF, but she hates amusement parks LOL. We did Disney our 1st trip w/her & I don't think any of us want to repeat that ezperience. My boys (DH included) are my WDW partners in crime & also my BFFs. I'm happy for you that you have dear friends going to help you celebrate. Blessings to you & hope to hear how your trip goes!

I definitely think you should celebrate your mom at the world in May. What a touching story.

There are free dining pins being sent out right now so you may want to call reservations and see if you got one too!

that's the kicker. when my mom and I went to disney, we used my email under her name...they wouldn't let me use it. which is fine, because it's cheaper using the 20% off POP with deluxe dining. its silly that we use deluxe dining, but really, my friend and i just love character breakfasts and a nice lunch, so with just those two meals, it's worth the delux plan and it would cost more to upgrade from the quick service. i figured it saves about $100 more

If you still want to try to use the pin, I would call again and ask for a manager, I think they would understand. There were some people on another thread that something similar happened to and they ended up being able to use the pin.

Leaving 9 weeks from today with DD13 for a great weekend at Destination D! It will be short, but very sweet. Can't wait!!
