Hello everyone

I just finished booking a quick mini trip for the D23 Scavenger Hunt. I booked my flight on Wednesday, Resort (POP AP Rate ) on Friday, and just finished my dining ressies.

Now all I have to do is wait 68 more days!

I AM GOING IN MAY, TOO!!!

I am soooooo excited -- can barely wait. I have been trying to get back to WDW for nearly two years and I just booked my airfare yesterday. I asked everyone I know if they would go, but I am afraid no one loves Disney as much as I do and, in this soft economy, very few can get off work. So...

I AM GOING SOLO!!!

I have been to WDW at least two dozen times over the last two decades, but this it the first time alone. Will be staying at Saratoga Springs (never stayed there) and want to try some new experiences. I am thinking about a backstage tour, etc. Any ideas?

I have purchased the Dining Plan (snack, counter, sit down) and hate dining alone, but will try to tough it out. I was thinking about Teppan Edo in Epcot and maybe the Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau Polynesian Resort. Any ideas from others who have travelled to WDW solo?

As I read this thread, I see that there is a D23 Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th Event going on the weekend I am there! Just signed up. Also signed up for the Scavenger Hunt, but I am only one so, I am not certain how this will go.

So glad to be posting here -- can't WAIT TO GO TO WDW!!! Very, very happy to be chatting with other people who understand and share by love for all things Disney!

Did you know we're doing a DIS meet on Saturday the 7th? In Epcot at France at 3pm. OGM slushies--need I say more?? Thought I'd pass it along since you'll be there. Not sure if it fits into your plans, but it would be cool if you could stop by for a few

2 months until we officially kick our trip off with Lion King on Broadway!!!!!!! (2 months and 2 days until we're at Beach Club!!)

We paid the whole trip off last week, but 2 months just seems so much more monumental!!!

I'm super jealous. I love the lion king on broadway. I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago for a hockey game and wanted to stay longer to see the show again.

We'll be there May 30th (Pop), then moving to AKL May 31st - June 5th. I have never been this particular week before but have gone the 2nd and 3rd week of June. It's hot but crowds weren't that bad. It can be stormy then. I remember trying to get to an ADR in Japan one evening and it was a gulley washer! Walking WS we had rain up over our ankles and lightening cracking bad.

Our schedule for the week:

May 30: Arrive around 2:30 after getting off ME. Check in and CRT for dinner.

May 31: DHS (DGD wants to see F! and we're not hopping. Do have MM F! package though)

June 1st: MK

June 2nd: Epcot with lunch at Chelfs de France.

June 3rd: AK then maybe DTD if we're up for it or hang out at resort

June 4th: Our last day and I told DGD she could pick the park we go too...

June 5th: Go home.

I will definitely try. I'm putting it in my phone right now and making an alert in case I forget! Normally the last day is a do whatever and go wherever we want day and we are eating dinner at Epcot that night!

61 days!!! Can't wait!!! Made my dining reservations and working on an itinerary for which parks to go to and make a list of restaurants I would like to dine at so my gramma and I aren't wasting time trying to figure out which restaurant we want to go to.
