Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

We leave May 14th for Ellie's first trip! She'll be 14 months old and won't remember a thing but we don't care! Can't wait to see her face with all the sights, sounds, and characters! We'll have PLENTY of pictures and videos to prove she was there!

Hoping for less crowds than are being predicted right now but we'll have a blast anyway!!

We are from Easley...not far down the road and will be taking our 3 yo and 1 yo for their first trip. I feel like you, the baby won't remember anything but who cares! Have fun!!!

We have managed to keep it a "surprise" for our DS4 too and I am impressed with myself. Of course with everyone that is all I talk about. And he sees me reading disney world books. That is the good thing about having a clueless 4 year old, haha! We are telling him 2 weeks out though.

Whoo Hoo, our Magical express package came last week, I just had a question. This is the first time I did not go through a travel agent, and in our package we got the yellow tags for our suitcases and a ME booklet, were we suppose to get our Disney tags with this? Or anything else.

The MYW package items come seperately from the ME items. I always get the ME stuff first so you'll probably get the rest of your "package" within a week.

24 more days to go. OMG!!! I have to start getting stuff ready. I still have summer clothes shopping to do for all of us and i need to dig out the suit cases. I cant believe how fast its coming.

LOL I know what you mean. My youngest is 4 and totally clueles about this stuff. I talk about "when we go see Mickey" and if it's not going on that day he doesn't care.

So far we have kept it a secret from the 7,9 yr olds but DS9 over heard me talking to my dad about them missing some SOL reviews. I am careful to not say Disney when I know they are in the house and he is sharp so I think he might be figuring it out.

Wow only 20 more days!! Holy cow. We were at my parents Easter so I took the bags w/ the boys clothes in it to keep there. Now to start planning my clothes and I need to contact wegoshop to get our order in soon.

We are heading down next Tuesday and we cannot wait. I try to tell my 2 yr old daughter that we are going to see Mickey and all she can do is look out the window and ask, "Where is he". I am packing our things now, my wife is letting me do it because she knows I am so excited...

yes you will be getting another one soon. It's a little bigger. It will have the hard luggage tags in it and a booklet. The booklet will have pages to summerize your package, you 30 min arcade card, coupons for mini golf, Planet hollywood, water recreation and the inserts to cut out to put in your luggage tage. My 2nd one was late getting here but I was well aware it would be and why. They usually come around a week of each other.
