***Official March 2025 Thread***

Family (4 adults 2 children: 4,6) will be going to WDW During March 17-21. At this moment, we were only wanting to do 1 park, but there is some chatter of doing 2 parks. I am thinking that with the Florida Spring Break Crowds, we would want to do LL, this would be instead of doing the AH events, which we usually due, but not this trip for the kids. My personal thoughts is to do just MK during this first trip for the kids, I think HS would be a lot of waiting in long lines, I know LL sells out fast due to the lack of availability. Has someone done a March trip before, tips for spring break week.

I haven’t done spring break before, but I will say that LL’s make a big difference on waiting if you use it right, even during busy times. All ears has some good videos as does Mammoth Club if you want to get a feel for how well it works on a busy day.

This may sound crazy, but we aren’t making any ADRs with the exception of Hoop Dee Doo if I can get it. We aren’t making any just going to wing it on this trip.
We’re doing the same thing! (Or so we say so far. But I’ll probably freak out on day 61 and wake up early to book stuff on my 60 days out anyway - “just in case” - because that’s what I’ve always done. 🤪)

We have gone over spring break the last 3 years, because it’s the only time we can travel for a week. Crowds are tough, but we manage and have a great time via a combination of rope drop, lightening lanes and mid-day breaks when crowds and heat are at their worst. That combination makes in manageable.

Would DEFINITELY recommend using lightening lanes though, if you can afford it. Especially with littles who have limited patience for waiting. Allows you to spend more time soaking up the atmosphere and doing the non-ride fun stuff that makes it truly magical!

For the past several months I have been checking dining reservations to see what is available that day and there is always several to choose from. Occasionally some of the really hard to get reservations show up. I figure we won't starve.

My husband is a college professor, so our choices are spring break, Thanksgiving week, winter break, or summer (too hot for me).

We are going to be staying at Riveria so I am not sure if we will be able to get to a mid-day break, but we are going to try and utilize extra evening hours. Maybe we can take a break around dinner time to go back

We've been busy planning our March trip. There are four of us, my DH and sister and my husband's sister. So, we have to take everyone's preferences into account. The four of us have taken four trips together so far. We have gotten a good idea of what works and what doesn't work. Our ADR day is this Wednesday so we have been busy picking out restaurants. :)

Trying to decide what restaurants to pick. We will be staying at the Riviera, we are thinking Yachtsman's steakhouse, but also there is Shulas right by there which is around the same price. We like to use DGC, so I would prefer YS, I know that there is Steakhouse 71, but have heard mixed reviews on whether or not to go. Have gone once in January 2022 or when it first opened and the experience was not as nice as our experience with YS

We ate at Steakhouse 71 and were disappointed with the steak. The quality of the meat at Yachtsman's and Shula's is much higher than at a restaurant like Steakhouse 71.

I heard online that Tiana’s will not be offered for After hours events. We were initially thinking of doing this but I guess the ride does not work half the time so they pulled it from the list. Guess our mind will be made to do the EEH and hope that it is still there for Wednesday nights.
If it is such unreliable ride they really should just close it for refurbishment.

Today is reservation day for me. We only chose 3: Hoop Dee Doo, a fireworks dessert party, and the Keys to the Kingdom tour. For everything else we are just going to wing it.
Now if I could just find a decent flight.

So how's everyone's ADR's going?
I book tomorrow and have been looking for a dinner reservation at Yak and Yetti and have only been seeing lunch time ones.
I went on this morning to look at availability for the day before we arrive and there was a 5:30 available - I'm feeling hopeful!!

Finished my ADR's!
Got everything we wanted, even a Yak & Yetti at 5:45!! Woohoo!

We got everything we wanted, too. We still have one night without a dinner reservation. We might just eat at the resort food court for that one. We plan to spend some time at the pool every afternoon.

It is official! I’ll be back 3/6-3/10. Not sure what resort I’m at but it will be one of the All stars. This will be my 4th time chaperoning a school trip. It is a ton of work and exhausting but who can pass up an expense paid trip to Disney? Plus, we have great kids!!!

Missed my 60 day booking and got in at day 58. Managed to finally get Space 220! Currently holding both a dinner reservation for one day and a lounge reservation on another. Have tried for two trips to get Space 220 so was somewhat surprised. Thinking I will probably drop the dinner as at $79 each it just seems too much, but haven't committed yet. Also booked Behind the Seeds, and Keys to Kingdom. Our Keys to the Kingdom is March 14 if anyone else has booked that day.

Haven't checked in here yet but very excited for our March trip, we just did our ADRs this week. We're at CBR for the second time after a great experience in 2022. It'll be our first time eating at Ale & Compass, Cake Bake Shop, and Narcoosee's, plus majority of the family's first time at Garden Grill. Can't wait for more details on Flower & Garden Fest!

We just added a trip during my kids' Spring Break, March 23 - 29th. Very excited to visit EPCOT with Flower & Garden, and most of all, warm weather!
Cobbled together 6 nights in a GFV Resort Studio, it took about 2 weeks of constantly checking the DVC site, but I finally got them. We've spent the past 2 spring breaks at Beach Club, but with Stormalong Bay closed, I knew we needed to look elsewhere. The studios sleep 5, with 3 separate sleeping options, so we'll each have our own bed. Heaven! Not sure what day we'll do what, or where we will eat. We mostly eat QS and snacks. DH is not into Disney, so one less mouth to feed, LOL!
