It’s been pretty quiet in here lately! Everyone busy planning? We leave in two weeks for our trip. We have started gathering items to start thinking about packing Will probably start, next weekend. Still trying to decide to bring shorts or pants. I’ve been to Disney many times but never in March. How does everyone decide what to wear…. Cute or comfy?
Last year we went to FL the third week of March (not Orlando, but still central FL), and I recall that the first two weeks of March were very sunny and warm, but as soon as we arrived it changed to overcast and cool. Our 2025 trip is a little over 3 weeks away, so I'll be watching the 10 day forecast with great interest! Hoping for sunny and warm!
I always dress in athleisure, shorts and tanks/tees, with a light jacket on hand. Joggers if it's going to be lower 60s or below. I gave my 13yo daughter a small budget for some park outfit/ear combos this time, as she has expressed an interest in thematic dressing and Disney bounding before. She found some really adorable ears on Etsy and some cute tees to go with. So I'm the comfy one and she's the cute one!

We are doing the droid experience with our 9yo son this time, and I wasn't sure what to do for her in the parks as an equivalent, so giving her a shopping allowance pre-trip filled that hole nicely.
Did everyone catch the announcement about standby queues for Cosmic Rewind and Tiana? That will definitely have an effect on planning!
I have mixed feelings about this. I'm excited about Tiana, as we only have an After Hours ticket for MK and with a standby queue we now have a chance to ride between 7 and 10pm (whereas before we had zero opportunity to ride it). And I'm crossing my fingers that this will also lead to them adding it to the After Hours list!
As for Cosmic Rewind, we have always used the VQ along with LLSP to ride it twice in one day, so I'm feeling that loss as I don't think we will stand in a 2 hour plus line to ride it standby. If they add it to Early Entry...hoo boy....I'm gonna have to think about it. I swore last year that I was done with rope dropping forever, as I didn't think it was worth the sleep deficit anymore (which is really hard on the constitution of our son in particular, and always led to bad days on the back end), and we have become very good at gaming LLMP to our advantage and riding everything we want without rope dropping. In addition, our Epcot day is after our MK After Hours Day (i.e. a late, late night), so I'm pretty sure rope drop is just a no go for us and I need to be satisfied with only one ride on Cosmic Rewind this trip! (Maybe two if we get in line at park closing?)
