***Official March 2021 Thread***

Is there any way to pay your resort balance early? I hate how every time I book they only let me pay the deposit (when I've budgeted for the whole thing) and then by the time the trip rolls around I forget I have a large balance I haven't budgeted for! (I know, I should be better at this.) I saw BamaMom said she paid her trip off so I'm wondering if I can call and ask them to charge me for the full balance now? (Our trip is in 31 days).
You should be able to make payments online. If you log into MDE, go under My Plans, and then under your resort reservation there should be a link to Make Payment. You can either pay the full balance or a lesser amount.

Yes. Do what ENJ said and if you don't see an option to pay the balance, then just give them a call and you should be able to pay it off. It is a nice feeling knowing it's paid off earlier rather than later. Once less thing to worry about.

I'm sorry I'm being daft but this is what I see:

Am I looking in the wrong place? Thank you so much for the help!

That is weird. On your first screen shot is where you should see the link. I no longer have it because I paid mine off yesterday, but you are looking in the right spot. Perhaps it's because you have a room only reservation, I have only ever had a package. Maybe the process is different.

Could be. I don't know why I don't buy a package--I always seem to reserve the room and buy tickets afterwards. I'm probably missing out on a ton of savings doing it that way. Thanks for looking at it for me!

Oh yeah, I think that's why. It's because its a room only reservation. You may can call them and do it over the phone though.

Besides the possible discounts, the other nice thing about a package is that it’s fully refundable. Just FYI!

You definitely pay early. I can't pay online this time (I think because I have a room only reservation? not sure) but I call every two weeks and make a payment by phone :)

I'll call them then on the 15th (pay day, ha). I hate getting the final folio and it's all the random Magic Band purchases plus the rest of the room rate!

I know it's been asked, but I can't seem to find it. When do we expect the final park hours to be announced for the end of March? The planner in me is dying not being able to plan more.

So far the trend is that they seem to be extending hours 2-3 weeks beforehand. So for the end of March I would expect they will announce those in about a month or so.

You can look at the hours this week and next and get a good idea of potential park hour changes. I agree with the previous poster -- about 2 weeks ahead of time.

My countdown WAS 365, but just changed it to 21!! Just 3 nights, 2 days, but we will be there!
We had a trip planned that we would have been there the last two weeks, but we postponed to next year due to covid. Saturday night, DH decided we needed to get away from all this snow and he said he could wear a mask for 2 days :)
We will be at POP March 2-5. Epcot on the 3rd and MK on the 4th. Most likely Disney Springs on the 2nd. ADR's for Via Napoli and Kona Cafe :)
Can't wait!!

I'm excited to see if Park Hours get extended for our trip beginning of March (even if that means it's because of more people haha). I shared the ADRs with my sister to see if any of them interested her and she's into all of them! I got some really good ones too (Topolino's dinner, Beaches & Cream Lunch, Oga's) so I'm excited to experience a couple of new-to-us ones together and then also experience some of my favorites with her for the first time :)

23 days to go!

Woohoo! Love a shorter countdown. I got you added to the list.

I'm at 38 days. First DW trip in over 20 years. Was a teenager last time, taking three little ones this time.
