Checking In!

My dates are March 24-30 at All Star Music Resort. I am arriving very late on the 24. I am hoping to rent DVC points at any resort but SSR. (SSR does not appeal to me.)

Anyone else at ASMu that week?

My AAA agent hasn't been able to update our ressies yet - seems there is a constant 1-1.5 hour wait on the phone with Disney (?probably because of all the problems with their new website - I still can't bring up my ressies on that). Hopefully they will be able to get through on Monday and we'll save close to $400 and my parents ~$350.

I bought the "Guide to the Magic For Kids" book for the boys for Christmas, and they have enjoyed looking it over and putting in some of the stickers.

The new website looks promising, but it is very frustrating that I cannot bring up my room/package reservation there. I was able to bring in our first ADR, so it at least gives me a close to correct countdown though.

Has anyone heard any more about the FastPass Plus things? My parents brought their ressie in on the new site and it said Monday (our 60 days day) there would be something to do online to avoid standing in line. I read something about the FastPass stuff in the terms and agreements for the new website. But maybe the 60 day thing is just about online hotel checkin?

I've been able to get a CM on the phone twice this week in under a half hour. I wonder if it's timing or something.

That book sounds cool. Did you get it at AAA?

I don't know anything about Fast Pass plus. I'd love to know more!

It is always so much fun to surprise others! Have a wonderful trip! We are there the 23rd through the 30th. My son's graduation/spring break trip. He is bringing a friend along so will be pretty much solo going for me!

Hi, I don't think I checked in yet! DD9 and I are coming March 9-14, cruising for 3 nights, then doing 1 last night at Disney sunday the 17th before heading home. We are excited about the stay! Doing POP the first part and our last night will be at Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Hello everyone- new to the group and checking in! Going to be at All Star Music from the 19-23 with my family: DM, DD, and 4 DSisters (6, 13, 15, 25). It's our first family vacation all together and my little sisters (6, 13, 15) first time visiting. To say I'm excited is the least!

Maybe travel agents have a different number to call or something. I'll be a bit peeved if they don't try and get through Monday (after I called and asked them about it Thursday).

I saw the book advertised in one of the Disney fan type emails I get and in the Disney "Celebrations" magazine. It is very nice - has each attraction listed, stickers for each, hidden Mickeys to look for, etc. The only downside (to me) is that it is a bit heavier than I expected, and I want them to take it along. (You should be easily able to find it online searching for "Guide to the Magic" - it was ~$20.)

I'm thinking now that the msg on my mom's "Disney Experience" was probably about online room check-in, since I've seen now that that is available 60 days out. But I read somewhere about testing on a new FastPass Plus thing where you can schedule fast passes for attractions before leaving home (for us type-A hyper planner people who plan out what to do when and where!) I'm not really sure about any of the details.

So pleased to be joining in this thread - we've booked 17 nights at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and we arrive March 19th 2013. Woo hoooo!!

It is myself, DH and DS (will be 6) and our best friends who's DD will be 7.

Can't wait to book our flights (will be available to book mid-May).

my boyfriend and i are going on march 9-17. i am excited because it will be our first disney trip together. i am in the beginning stages of planning but i am tend to overplan so he will hear of nothing else for the next several months. he loves disney world but he might be sick of it before we get there.

I'll be going march 16-22 and I'm the same way, this will be my bf's first trip to disney and our first trip together, he's already constantly saying "you're all about disney lately!!" I can't help it. Planning is as fun as the trip itself!

We'll be there March 19-24 with Beachbody so if you know P90x or Insanity (the workouts) look out for Tony Horton and Shaun T on Space Mountain.

We are going March 24-30. My son will be coming with his high school marching band (marching before the electrical parade on the 28th so make sure you all cheer really loud!) The rest of us are staying offsite at the Holiday Inn Express. We were at DW last spring break & I can't wait to get back!

We will be at the Boardwalk from March 26-April 4. Kids are worried the bunny won't find us

Tell them the bunny and his wife will be there! Last year they were set up for a meet and greet right to the left of City hall at MK

Just checking in to say hi . We'll be arriving March 21-30 staying at Beach Club. Really excited. Countdown has started and we are down to 71 days . Hoping that we get to try the MyMagic+ for our trip, but not sure I want to wear a thick bracelet for 10 days.

Anyone doing anything special to prepare for the upcoming trip? We're having Disney Theme nights every other week. Helps add to the excitment.

New to DIS.... Suprised the kids with trip to WDW as a Christmas gift! It's their 1st time. We are staying at POFQ 3/15/13 - 3/21/13. I may be more excited than they are!

DD20 will turn 21 on Easter and wanted it to be extra special. Currently booked at CSR for that period, but no deal.

That is Easter week, isn't. It? Easter bein the 31st the week beforehand being Easter week.

I have gone at Xmas time with no deal before, bummer but we still had fun .
