I got my Disney packet with the coupons and luggage tags the other day. We have never done a package before so I am excited about the luggage tags!!

I got a call last night from Disney Cruise Line, and they were sorry to inform me that our room was under construction... so they needed to upgrade us to a Larger OCEAN VIEW room.... YYYYYIIIIIPPPPPEEEEEE!!!!

I agree. Mine tend to come about 3 weeks out too. I'm not getting one this time, because we're driving.

Hey check out this page.http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/rehab.htm Some of the rehabs will effect our trips. The castle will be covered with scaffolding Studio backlot tour at DHS reopens the day before my trip...whewww.. I had that on my touring plan. I'm sad about the castle not looking pretty for our trip photos. What also concerns me ... I was listening to the DISpodcast and the man mentioned that the Rivers of America was drained of water and that the Riverboat and Tom Sawyer's Island would be closed through May 5th. I re-played it several times and he did say May. I don't see this on the refurb. list or the allears.net rehabs list. What's the deal? Anybody know?

Dont worry. Thats one good thing about going during the busy season. They dont usually have much construction going on...

The moat was drained but has been filled again for good. The castle is still being worked on but the scaffolding is camoflaged and only 18 feet high so it really isnt that noticable. Here is a link to the most recent pictures but again, I'm sure it won't look that way by the time we get there.

The resort should be given your reservation about 10 days out.. I have read. It is your travel agents job to put in your request... but.... I would definately double check before you leave. Since we're DVC, I make my requests through member services, but I'm sure you can make a request through your travel agent or Disney directly, but I heard its 10 days out that the resort is given your info.

As for Potty Training. Its ok. I did a trip with pull-ups. Quite frankly, its easier than when your child screams "I've gotta go potty"... after you've waited in line for 30 minutes! Somewhere in my downstairs bathroom, I have a little folding potty seat that folds up really small. I think I bought it at Target or Wal-mart. It has sponge bob on it!--don't tell!! If you carry a descent sized park bag or a stroller, its not hard to tag along. They also have... if I'm not mistaken, special potty equipment in the bathrooms at the babycare centers. I think I recall this vaguely. Check on the boards about the babycare centers. They've got everything there.

That is a relief. We're not going until the END of March, so many of the attractions are actually reopening right before we arrive. It'll be EPCOT flower & Garden though... which will be my focus. I LOVE F&G, but I'm disappointed that the Cantina de San Angelo will be closed. That was also a very good viewing spot for Illuminations, as well as having delicious food. I didn't realize that they actually removed the holiday lights from the castle. I thought they just weren't noticable in summer because they didn't turn them on. Silly me!!
