I have got to share my great news with all of you! I got a job offer last friday to be Michael Stribling's Business Manager (that's not my official title as of yet, but we are tossing it around)!!! Of course, many of you are asking who in the heck is Michael Stribling? Well, he is only the best interior designer out there! You will be able to see him on HGTV's Design Star starting June 8, 2008!! Check it out!

Needless to say, I am super excited! This is the opportunity of a lifetime, at least for me, and I am truly blessed to have been chosen for this position!

I also would like to offer my congratulations. I will be sure to check out the show. It sounds like an amazing job.

Thanks! I can't wait to start. I think this is that dream job that I have always wanted. I know that the show will be great. I have a hard time finding anything on HGTV that isn't interesting and fun to watch. They sure do make things seem so easy though. Who knows, maybe I will actually learn a thing or two myself! There is always hope!

How was your last final? Mine was was not hard, just long. I was so wiped out when I finished. I took my on Friday but studied all night for it - literally. I had drank so much a coffee and Coke Zeros that I became jittery. I will never do that again! It was horrible.

We just got back from a 14 day cruise to Alaska today and we've got 26 days until DisneyWorld! Woohoo!!!!

Just enough time to unpack, do laundry for all of those heavy winter clothes and pack hot weather clothes!!

The last final was a nightmare. While I think I did very well on it, I was so nervous about it I actually made myself sick. I am happy that it is over.

43 more days to go...... Anyone interested in joining us and splitting the cost of a Magic Kingdom "Wishes" Celebration Cruise on June 30th? We have room for about 4 more. Hey - I love Kool & The Gang! I suppose that shows my age as well! The other day while in the car, my DS 7 started singing that very same song! I laughed so hard. Apparently my love for XM Channel 8, the 80's channel, has rubbed off onto my DS! Poor thing!
No, I won't be on the show. And that's a good thing! I'm very camera shy! I would much rather be a behind the scenes gal. I am not sure when and where he'll be sometimes, but I will remain here working. It's so funny because HGTV has begun showing commercials for the show and when I see him on it, it seems so unreal. Does that make any sense?

I've got a question for ya. Does WDW send you anything pertaining to ADRs? That is, will they send me something indicating the time and place of our ADRs or have that info when we check in? I figured that I would write them down myself and bring date, time, and place with us just to make sure.

But here's the super-cool thing . . . for the longest time I have been trying to convince my best friend (also a Disney freak) to come down and hang out with me and my son at Star Wars Weekend. She just found out on Saturday that she got the vacation time, so she's gonna come meet us!

I was even able to get us a new lunch ADR at Le Cellier for a party of 3, which is good because my son was going to be so sad if he didn't get a chance to have a little Canadian food during our trip! And, um, well, I kinda like eating there too.

I have made myself sick over exams as well. At least they are over! I finally found out what I made on my exams. I did much better than I expected on the first one. It was hard, but I managed to pull an A in the class.

Nope...you have to do that all yourself. But just a word for the wise...make sure you take your confirmation number with you. I have had to use them before when they didnt have our ressie in the right spot of with the right name or something. I gave them my confirmation number ans was taken straight back. Plus if you are trying to get into a park early to get to breakfast they will want to know your last name and may ask you for your confirmation #. I think it is so funny were going the same time, staying at the same place, and going to be at Epcot and Coral reef at the same time too. I wonder what else we have in common during our trips?
