I think you are doing AKV while we are there??

No AKV this time- I'm staying at SSR June 1-4, it's my first DVC stay, but we bought at AKV. I'll be staying there with my family for 1 night on Halloween before we go on the cruise Nov 1. But I WILL be visiting AKV this time, we're eating at Jiko on Monday, and I can't wait to see it- I've always stayed at the BC before this.

Is anyone doing a beach stay before, during, or after your WDW stay? If so what beach are you going to?
We were supposed to hit St Pete for 2-3 days prior to WDW, but had some schedule changes with our trip due to my DD14 AAU traveling basketball team, so now we are only going to have 1 day/1 night at the beach and were thinking that Cocoa is closest and that would work since were not going to have much time to spend there. Was just curious if anyone else was hitting the beach too?

We're not doing a beach trip this year, but have in years past. Cocoa is nice. I can't remember the name of our hotel but it was right on the beach and was a suite.

Funny thing about flight changes . . . last week I found out that there were some slight adjustments, and we're now arriving at MCO 30 minutes earlier, and departing 30 minutes later. I was embarrassingly happy about an extra hour at Disney World.

Lucky! My flights were adjusted so that I leave home 30 minutes eariler and arrive in Orlando 30 minutes later than originally planned

When I called AirTran to check on times and reduced cost, I made a comment about the flight being changed from 3 pm to 7 pm and was given a credit on my account (airtran) to be used for a flight before Jan. 2009. My flight was changed by 4 hours - more time in WDW

No beach for us this time around - but last year we stayed in Cocoa Beach for 3 days for my sister's wedding. We had a great time. It's very pretty there!

We got our vacation package in the mail today so I'm going to officially say...

If you booked room only, no you will not get anything, if you booked a package, you will get a packet with all of your travel documents and vouchers.

Aww I was afraid that was the cause. We booked room-only because we didn't need dining and we were getting our tickets from a company discount. We did, however, receive ME stuff (which we weren't planning on using)

we booked package from disney, room, tickets and DDp .We are just not using ME because flying in to Tampa and driving over. (flights a little cheaper)
Would like to recieve something in mail , just wasnt sure if we would. Counting the days now

I too just have to get through finals . . . then it is disney 24/7 until june 1st. Only 28 more days . . and of those only 3 more finals to get through in the next week . .

It's nice to know that someone else is in the same boat as me! I am graduating this semster and am finding it very hard to study for exams! I have A's in all of my classes; I've have been calculating what my lowest grade on the exam can be in order to still pull of an A!
