Official JUNE 2008

49 days to go! :cool1: :cool1:

Funny thing about flight changes . . . last week I found out that there were some slight adjustments, and we're now arriving at MCO 30 minutes earlier, and departing 30 minutes later. I was embarrassingly happy about an extra hour at Disney World.

Will anyone else be driving down I-10 on the night of june 19th, we will. Heading out Deville,LA at 9pm,,Baton Rouge I-12 11:30pm, the hit I-10 for night drive while kids sleep, was wondering who else might be on I-10 at the sametime? ,hopefully we will be at WDW by 10am!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup249 more day!!!:rotfl:

What a cute question! We won't be on I-10, we'll be on I-95 a week earlier. I love road trips!!! (I know, I know, I know they can be a pain, but I look at it as part of the trip and time to get really excited about the destination!)

Sorry, your post just got me thinking about our drive down too!!!

One month til June 1st!!!!!!::cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Ah yes, we are really going to Disney. I got my ME packet today.. even if we aren't using them and they spell our name wrong even after we corrected it. (And online, it is corrected) :)

well no matter when your going in June it is officially NEXT MONTH!!!!! :worship:
Everybody get up and do your happy dance now!!!

I agree with AMY...so here is my official speech....

As the host of this official June 2008 thread, I invite you all to PLEASE give us a complete trip report including pictures upon your return home!

How was that? lol...I sounded important...lol...right?!!!:lmao:

So has everyone started packing? Made arrangements to either stop your mail or have someone pick it up for you? Dont forget your newspaper. Any other final countdown tips we should post? Packing tips? My favorite thing I was told was about laundry...of all things. If you do laundry while you are there...take your powder detergant and measure it out in zip lock baggies...& take you dryer sheets. It saves money and it is nice having the brand you use with you. (I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS FOR ANYONE FLYING...I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE THE ONE EXPLAINING WHAT THE WHITE POWDERY SUBSTNACE IN YOUR BAGS HAPPENS TO REALLY BE!) I also take a roll of quarters with me because it never fails when I go to do laundry the change mich is broke or empty!!

I would really HATE to be the one designated to sniff "that" white powder. That might be worse than the "real" stuff, IMHO

Well, we are officially at 36 days :yay: Not sure whether to be excited or not, cause in 37 days I will turn 35 :scared:

We have just booked some cheap flights, so will be there 14th -28th June :cheer2: staying in a villa, can't wait! :thumbsup2

Ooohhh...do tell us about them. I have an Adidas outlet close by and am looking for a new pair of sandals.

I'm not sure what particular make/model they are, but they have that Fit Foam all along the bottom and are soooo comfortable. They just look like a regular flip flop. The pair I got are light blue and brown. I wear sneakers to the parks during the day, but in the evenings nothing feels better than airing those dogs out in sandals!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Are you a Big Brother fan???

No, but I hear that a guy from my area won this time.

It isn't so much the 35, it's the childLESS part that gets me down.

My sister had her FIRST when she was 41, and my SIL just had her first and she's 44. Age is nothing but a number anymore, don't worry. Have a great birthday!:goodvibes

It's dreary and raining here on the east coast. Think I'll Youtube Wishes tonight just to get me in the mood!

Well, we can't have any, but after a few days of keeping my cousins 2 youngest, I have thought twice about it and my freedom to pick up and go to WDW 2 or 3 times a year, although a baby wouldn't stop that, except where money is involved (mom always picked me up and went places, maybe that is why I like to go go go :goodvibes )

I think I will watch my old planning video, and don't forget the Season Of Disney on Travel Channel tomorrow evening 9pm EST

Our June 1st trip that we have been planning for a very long time, became May 31st about 3 weeks ago. So, less than a month.

Staying at the same time and place as some of you!
